I built my fence two years ago. It was clear early on there is no communication between departments. Sales will tell you one thing, installation will tell you something else.
I had problems with a post heaving affecting a gate about a year ago. They came out fairly quickly to repair that. (Probably because my boyfriend called in, somehow he never seemed to have the struggle that I have).
The new gate was never constructed in the same way. The latch was not secure. I have been trying to get this «warranty» repair completed since June!
I installed the fence to secure my dog and for added security from crime. Not secure with a detachable latch. Someone entered my fence and broke into my garage last.
Thanks a lot Midwest for nothing.

Trusting the company you work with, especially on small jobs, is the most important part of the job other than the result, maybe even more important than price in the end. You have to trust that they will do what they promise and that they will make it right if they fall short.
I learned that Midwest Fence is a company with a huge amount of integrity and that matters.
Terry, their GM, is a rock solid guy.
It wasn’t a perfect job to start, that happens, but by the end of it I had a ton of respect for the company, the team, and a damn fine looking gate.
Would recommend them, and would use them again.

Let’s see…
Having no communication about when the work would be completed… Check.
Having your credit card charged for more than what was agreed to on the phone… Yep.
Being charged for services not completed… That happened.
Being deliberately hung up on by the sales consultant when questioning above charges… You bet.
In summary, if you value integrity and professionalism, you’d better look elsewhere.

Couldn’t even get to the fence phase. Sales guy came out and quotes me an amount of linear feet for fence. Thing is, when you look at the drawing on his page, it doesn’t add up. Another item of concern is he had no idea if his company handled filing a fence plan with the city. Also the price quote is double other quotes, red flags everywhere.

I normally do not take the time to post reviews but the professionalism of this company surpassed my expectations. From the sales consultant (Tom) who actually redesigned our project at a lower cost and a much more pleasing look, to the office staff that promptly returned our calls, and the installers that took the time to build our fence correctly my accolades.

I had one of the sales guys come over to see our property and subsequently waited two weeks for an estimate that never came. I even checked in with him after a few days, and he claimed it was on it’s way. It never came. I let him know we’re going with another company, and just got a «sorry, thought I sent it» response. I’m glad he didn’t send it. It was a red flag of poor service, and I think he saved me a headache!
