The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk

This is a great place to walk and shop as long as it is not raining. Nice lay out with plenty of parking in the back. Parking on the main drag is limited and difficult to get out of with the oncoming traffic. The shops are arranged well and there is plenty of room to walk. Good restaurants on the North side and a chocolateir by LL Bean at the South end. We love visiting when ever we are in the area,

I really love these shops — it gives me the feel of what a Downtown shopping district should be in a not so «Downtown» area.
The Promenade Shops at Evergreen are tastefully arranged providing patrons with a wide variety of shopping options — from your classic stores such as L.L. Bean, Gap, Clarks and Eddie Bauer to some higher end stores such as Williams Sonoma, Brooks Brothers, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor and Talbots. It is literally a one stop shopping center for all your everyday living needs.
Oh — did I mention this shopping plaza is outside. No worries if you are heading here on a cold day — there is a Starbucks to re energize and warm you up as well. Feeling a little dip in your blood sugar as you power shop — no worries The Promenade Shops have several casual (Moe’s, Munson’s Chocolates and Emerald City Smoothie) and sit down restaurants (Ted’s Montana Grill, Bonefish Grill and Burton’s) to fill your belly and help you to continue your shopping journey.
The location of this shopping plaza is clean and comfortable, the stores are laid out conveniently (with maps throughout), there is no lack of parking, and Evergreen Walk is located conveniently close to I84.

This is a fantastic place to shop if you’re in the Hartford area. They seriously have something for everyone: LL Bean, Williams-​Sonoma, Anthropologie, Omaha Steaks, Munson’s Chocolates, Charming Charlie. If you’re looking for a place to eat, the restaurant selection is wide, too: Ted’s Montana Grill, Bonefish, Sakura Garden, Moe’s. They have cute little seating areas all over, so it’s the perfect place for an afternoon with friends (and people watching!).

I have a recently-​adopted rescue miniature pinscher with separation anxiety, so not having to leave her alone while I did my holiday shopping was a blessing. I came here specifically because I could bring Rhody.
Stores were clearly marked as to whether dogs were allowed. All the employees (and the other customers!) were so welcoming. I spent about 1 ½ hours and was able to get some really nice gifts, and Rhody had a nice stroll.
Plenty of places to sit, eat, spend money, and enjoy time out with your pooch.

This place is awesome, a little far for me but so worth the trip. It’s a trillion billion times better than the Westbrook outlets and Clinton crossing. With that said, this place is not an outlet but is set up like one. Parking style makes way more sense than the two others mentioned above. They have way better stores… pottery barn, William Sonoma, Omaha steaks, LL Bean, pier one. And places to eat also much better, Teds Montana grill, bonefish grill, grounds are cleaner and prettier. Love it and I will be back for sure. Nice place to shop all day and then have nice lunch/​dinner all in the same spot.

My wife and i love this outdoor mall !! Musix playing even in the winter. This mustt be great when it is warm out. Theres even omaha steak!

Extremely disappointed. I am here to shop but am allergic to animal dander so I can’t shop in stores that have pets. People should leave there pets at home or take them to the park.

This is a great looking mall. Great place to walk. It is an outside mall. I’m not sure if they have a lot of business in the winter. I have seen these malls in Las Vegas and Oklahoma City. Even the winters there, keep people away.
Some of the shops were very expensive. I was there on Veterans Day and really didn’t see many deals. That may be because I am frugal.
There are some shops that you will not find at the Holyoke Mall or Enfield. For instance, they have a Soma. I have been obsessed with this store. They also have an LL Bean
There are a few sit down restaurants. I actually ate at one of them. It wasn’t to busy.
I may go back to this mall when the weather is better. I most likely won’t buy anything though.

My husband and I love taking our german shepherd and pomeranian to this outdoor mall so we can walk around and window-​shop. Everything is so clean and inviting! Its especially beautiful around the holidays, when they hang lights everywhere and put up cute decorations. We buy our dogs doggie ice creams from the boutique pet store and let them enjoy them while we sit on the adirondack chairs in front of the fire pit. Wonderful place to bring your furry kids.

Great weather today so we had a great time. Was very excited to see there was a Moes Southwestern Grill! Most shops are certainly high end and expensive but if you’re looking to just walk and window shop it’s a great stop. Dog friend too, which is great.

These type of outdoor malls are more prevalent in the LA area where they take advantage of southern California’s more temperate climate. I’m an outdoorsy type of person so I like them a lot, regardless of whether I’m walking in 80 degree weather or walking through 8 inches of snow. I’ll take them any day over a stuffy concrete indoor malls where there’s no windows and you can’t tell if it’s day time or night time outside. If indoor malls had slot machines and black jack tables they would make perfect casinos.
This mall has a decent mixture of retail shops and a few anchor restaurants. The number of shops could be a little more plentiful and the parking could be a little more convenient, but all in all the place works.
I wish more outdoor malls were built in CT but I’m afraid many nutmeggers are a little too thin skinned so the chance of another Evergreen Walk popping up elsewhere is probably not going to happen.

Such a beautiful place to eat, shop, or just take a stroll after grabbing ice cream. Luckily, I live in the vicinity so it’s within 20 minutes from me!

LL Bean, great restaurants and quality stores. Easy to find off the highway.

A nice, elegant, and upscale shopping area. Really nice stores here, including my favorites: L’Occiataine en Provence, Old Navy, Pottery Barn, Charming Charlie, and Pinkberry. It’s also (somewhat) dog friendly; Leaps & Bones is a store just for pets and you can take your dog right inside! I went in there with a friend and her Belgian Shepherd. I even ended up buying some homemade peanut butter cookie treats for my own dogs. I’ve never seen their tails wag faster. :)
Overall, a very nice shopping center, if on the pricey side. But you don’t even need to spend a lot of money; I don’t. I usually just grab a froyo from Pinkberry and window shop, or (in the winter) sit around the nice bonfire. Good times.

A great addition to the South Windsor /​Manchester area. A bunch of high end shops along with the other standards (Crew, Banana, & Anthropologie). A nice staple of restaurants too, especially fir adults after shopping. All in all a great addition to this area to get a reprieve from the standard mall format.

I’m a fan, especially on a sunny day. I would rather come here and enjoy the shops and walk than visit an indoor mall.
Pros:
–Plenty of parking.
–Clean and inviting environment.
–Great shops which include Banana Republic, Gap, Williams-​Sonoma, Brooks Brothers and Pottery Barn.
–Easy access and location from the highway.

One of my favorite shopping areas in CT, I would visit more but I live an hour away but it is worth the trip out once in awhile.
On a day where the weather is nice, I do not know why you would want to go to the mall instead of here! The shops are more upscale with a nice mix of independently owned smaller shops. The charming charlie here is GREAT. As many others have said this area is dog friendly too and I always love all the noses coming up to greet and sniff me :-).
The Old Navy is HUGE and this place even has a Stonewall Kitchen store.

So happy to have this shopping center so close! They have a great selection for retail therapy and some of the better chain restaurants. But the major draw for me is 1) they have a Chico’s (I’m so addicted to their stuff it’s not even funny); and 2) I can bring my dog (s) with me shopping! Get out of town! Shut the front door! I come from a pretty darn dog-​friendly city (Portland, OR), but there are only a few places one can bring their dog. Here, in beautiful South Windsor, CT, I can get my Chico’s fix AND spend some quality time with my favorite pooch! SOLD! And now I read from other reviews that I can enjoy outdoor dining with my sweet little fluffy cuddle bug? I may have to go here every free moment I have (or until I max out my credit cards).

The Shops at Evergreen Walk are a SUPER alternative to the indoor Buckland Mall in Manchester. The shopping is just a few stoplights away, and so much nicer.
As an outdoor shopping plaza, there is ample parking near whichever store you are trying to be close to. Restaurants include Sakura, Burtons, Bellinis, Johnny Rockets, Pinkberry, and more, so there is always something for everyone.
While the retails stores run a bit higher end, expect to pay a pretty penny for your goods, but you can find a really nice variety of options.
A great place for a date, or an afternoon to just walk around outside.

HUGE fan of Evergreen Walk. It’s a great place to stroll around during the warm weather months. Many of the stores are higher end, which is nice. They have some of my favorite stores, like Banana Republic, Williams-​Sonoma and LL Bean. They also have Bellini’s and Burton’s for dinning which are super yummy!
I feel blessed to have this «mall» in town.
