Finders Keepers Furniture Consignment

Visited on two occasions to gather info on purchasing furniture for my son’s big boy room. Chris, the co-​owner, was very friendly and spent over an hour answering my questions despite my telling him on the first visit that I wasn’t ready to buy. He gave me lots of information so I could make my choices and a business card if I had follow up questions. I did attempt to email a few weeks later and received no response but it’s an AOL address so maybe be out of date. In any event, the info wasn’t so crucial that I called so it wasn’t a big deal. He did mention a few «competitors» and why I shouldn’t buy there which made me laugh because the competition he listed weren’t other places I was considering (think NE big box furniture store).
The beds and furniture are all solid wood and very sturdy. I was impressed that there’s no weight limit to the platform beds as most other styles I’d seen did. He invited me to scratch the wood with my nail and there was no damage. Very important for a three year old’s room!
I returned a few months later with my son to pick out his big boy bed. Chris was again patient as my son bounced from bed to bed making his choice. We ordered on a Friday and the bed arrived on Wednesday. At pick-​up everything fit into my Pilot (full bed, trundle, and trundle mattress). Chris helped load the car. That day we also ordered a dresser which Chris said would arrive in a week and that he would load with his dad if my husband wasn’t available.
Once home it took a few attempts to figure out the directions: there are no words, just pictures that are out of order! It was very confusing! After about an hour we figured out that the screws work like cam locks and suddenly it all made sense. We put the full bed and trundle together in about 45 minutes after that. My son loves his bed and it’s very sturdy. My mom has slept on the trundle and likes it too. Very happy with our purchase.
