Absolutely terrible experience with this moving company. DO NOT use this company! First, they charge by the hour, which isn’t so bad, and we knew that going into the process. BUT, the movers leisurely took 4 hours to drive what is normally a 2.5 hour drive, thus increasing the amount we would ultimately pay. Second, their crew damaged our headboard, and upon calling the company, we were informed they do not reimburse for particleboard (which is what our headboard is made out of). That clause was somewhere on a contract that we supposedly signed, but never received a copy of. Lastly, in looking into other moving companies, we were told it is illegal for a moving company to give a quote over the phone — that is, without visually looking at the belongings. At the time, it seemed like a great convenience, but in retrospect, some of our items barely fit into their truck and at least one of the movers made mention that our things wouldn’t fit. It seemed like another tactic to increase how much we would have to pay them. The owner declined to reimburse us anything for the damaged headboard. I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE, ANYWHERE! You’re better off hiring friends and moving with a UHaul!
