Salon Couture of Southington

Having just moved to CT after living in Brooklyn, NY for many years I was terrified of getting my hair cut by anyone other than my trusted stylist. I took a chance and came to Salon Couture and was so happy with the results. Richard was incredibly nice and fun to chat with and did an amazing job on my hair. I will definitely be coming back for all my future cuts. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here once a few years ago when I was home from college. The experience was just fine so this time around I figured I’d come in again for a trim. The atmosphere is a very cute and quaint boutique salon. The inside is clean and classy with photos of Marilyn Monroe spread around.
When I called, they were able to give me an appointment the same day which was nice. I usually decide to get haircuts in a spur of the moment kind of way. I had Bridget cut my hair and she was a very sweet girl. Instead of getting a trim like I had planned, I decided to chop off 8 inches of my hair to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. When I decided that as I sat in the salon chair, Bridget was so excited to do this major cut and it made me more excited too. She was really bubbly and you could easily tell her passion for hairdressing.
The cut was nice and simple. She knew exactly what to do and what would look good since I basically gave her creative control. After the cut, she styled and curled my hair for me! That’s always something I love having when I go into salons. Overall, Bridget was talented and had a very sweet personality. If I wasn’t moving out of the state, I would definitely continue coming to Salon Couture regularly.

I love getting my hair cut here. Bridget cuts my hair and she always does an amazing job. I tell her what I want and she makes great suggestions. It has gotten to the point now where I just let her do whatever, I completely trust her!
The inside is small, cozy and a really friendly atmosphere. You should try out this salon.

Although not my favorite «spa» experience, they did a good job.
a single room in a hair salon is not my idea of a «spa» .
The girl at the desk was pleasant upon arrival. the massage therapist (Sherri) was very good and very responsive to my requests. she was very thorough in all aspects of the treatment. I did buy the «come back coupon» they offered at completion, so I will be returning.

Great service. Great prices. Cute shop. Friendly staff. Lindsay (the owner) was the first person to give me the hair cut I want in a very long time. She actually knows how to «thin out» hair — maybe the technical term is texturize or chip — IDK — but she took the weight out of my hair and now it falls well again.
She’s recently expanded services to include massage and facials, Shellac manis, and waxing services.
