Finally, someone who could actually tell me the difference between the two Raspberry Pi kits. I swear I’d been to at least five different stores, and no one could tell me the difference between them, much less which one was the older version. (The answer surprised me). Great job guys. Keep it up!

Haven’t been to a radio shack in a while but needed someone to look at my son’s iPhone that had gotten wet. I wasn’t expecting much because of the water damage. Radio Shack charged me $ 35 up front to assess but kept me updated on the condition and were very professional
They were able to get the phone nearly back to it’s original condition which was much better than I expected. They were helpful and explained everything. I was very happy with the result and the way they handled things

On one of the very rare occasions that my iPhone 5S is out of its case of course this last time happens to be the time I dropped it, smashing the screen and putting a small dent into the metal frame in the corner. I searched on Unilocal for an iPhone repair company and took it in a store in Dallas only to be told they did not want to attempt fixing since the frame was dented and the screen would probably crack again trying to force it in. I did not want to take no for an answer and happened to hear that the RS in Southlake repairs screens so I took it in after using my phone for about 3-​weeks with occasional shards of glass falling out.
The iPhone tech at RS, Scott, assisted me and said he could fix it in about 20 minutes. About 15 minutes into the repair, he said the frame was bent and was not sure he could get the glass in. Great now what, while the old screen was cracked severally, the phone still worked. Now with the phone apart, old screen in pieces and the new glass not able to fit without potentially breaking, I was screwed. Scott said he would try taking it to the Master Tech at the Radio Shack in Irving so I went home. About 5 minutes after getting home, Scott called to say he fixed it on his own without having to going to Irving. I got back in my car, drove to the store to pick it up but a little skeptical all functions might not be working.
Let me just say, Scott is Da’ Man!!! He fixed it, all works.
While I cannot say everyone will have the same great experience I had but after being told «no» by another company who had great reviews and then RS fixing it to perfect working order, I no longer have to worry about glass pieces in my fingers.

On 5÷23÷13, I tried to obtain a refund of an unopened item with the original receipt which allowed for returns until 6÷3÷13. Chris could not work his computer. Even though the screen showed the receipt and the item I was trying to get a refund of, he said he couldn’t because I was commiting some kind of fraud. Since I had the original receipt and the unopened item, Chris could not explain what fraud I was commiting. He did offer me a store credit, which was not why I had come in. And if I were commiting some kind of fraud, I’m not sure why he would offer one! Chris insisted (even though I’m clearly mobility challenged and cannot walk without assistance) that I go out of my way and go to another store further away for a refund.

I was thoroughly impressed with my experience at this location. Brandi, the store manager, was extremely friendly and helpful. She was on top of everything and made sure I received the service that I needed.

The «Shack» as it now likes to be called, really impressed me! In a desperate search for a new T-​Mobile phone, like I couldn’t go home without one kind of desperate, I happened upon The Shack 30 minutes before they closed and I was greeted by one very helpful young man who answered all my questions and helped me get into and drive off with my very first smart phone. The prices are competitive and the service was way over my expectations. Who would have thunk it? It’s not your father’s Radio Shack anymore!
