Do not come here if you want a meal. Save yourself and your money’s worth for a decent restraunt. It takes more than 20 minutes for two waters that taste like soap. Also your think they are famous for their cheese fries, but I was proved wrong. These fries had more cheese than fries maybe 10 in total. So as I said say yourself, go to a place worth your money.

Somehow, this has turned into a teen’s hang-out/date night thing, which is Ok, but not somewhere where I want to go with wifey. Being that said, the place is Ok, but I could care less if I never returned. I like the one in Dallas WAY better. Not that this is a bad place, there are just so many other places that are better and not loaded with teenagers running all around. Wait staff was nice, but service was just mediocre. I had the Chili dog and fries while wifey got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. She shared my fries. It looked as if our food had been sitting under the warmer for quite a while before it came out to us. It was un-appealing to say the least. But I was hungry and my dog tasted Ok, but it was a little tough on the ends(too loooong under a heat lamp will do that). Wifey ate about half the chicken sandwich and said the bun was hard. Not a good go-around at this point. Also, no one ever approached her to refill her water. That’s a sign of terrible service in my eyes. Overall, not a bad place, but go to the one in Dallas for a better experience.

My husband and I wanted to try a new place and we were very disappointed. The food is your average bar food, just plan on waiting over an hour to get it. Our waitress checked on us maybe 4 times in our hour and a half there, she messed up our drinks twice and another waitress brought our food out. I would understand if it was very busy but there were empty tables all over the place. We also watched three other waiters stick straws in our drinks to sample them at the bar. Another table next to us actually complained to manager about the long wait on their food. It has potential to be a good place just needs to get it together.

Awesome cheese fries and fried mushrooms. Absolute WORST Chicken Enchilada Soup I have EVER had in my whole life. It tasted like a can of tomato soup with some mushy shredded chicken in the bottom of the bowl. They seriously need to take this off of the menu. It is just gross! I just need to warn everyone so that they do not get disgusted like I did. I would have sent it back but my poor waitress seemed like she was new and I didn’t want to fluster her. I would have loved to give them a 4 or 5 but the soup really turned me off.

We came here a year ago and the food was delicious. when we came here yesterday. the food was alright… I had the chicken fried steak(tooo much batter not enough steak) and husband had the burger with chilli(he said it was delicious). We shared a plate of fries. The fries seemed as if they were sitting out for a while because the melted cheese was already set when it got to our table. 2 entrees, 1 side of fries and 2 beers was 40 $

Ordered the footlong hotdog, the bun was thin and partially stale, the hotdog was microwaved and the salad was well… less than desirable. However the music and staff we’re good!

FRIES! The best thing about this place. Go for the fries, go back for the fries, go at least 3 times a year for fries! Everything else is just meh. I always end up eating here even though I know I shouldn’t bother. I don’t think I will next time! At least I tell myself that now? Maybe putting it here on Unilocal will be a constant reminder. The burgers are mediocre at best. Can’t compare to many other places in the area as is. Kincaids, Mooyah, and five guys all beat them out just to name a few. The service is also not excellent. For such a limited menu the drivers should be more on top of things in my opinion. Forgetting drinks, forgetting to take our order, water running empty are all real downers. But especially a downer on a not busy Sunday at 4:30. Ehhhh. My parents loved the onion rings so that’s a plus. They were okay, but would have been better if the ranch was better. Over all ehhhh. But FRIES! Get them to go or go for an appetizer before a real meal elsewhere!

The cheese fries were good but I’m pretty sure they changed the prices and the sizes. I felt gypped and the waiters kept leaving, unhappy.

Came here with my sweetheart for our anniversary lunch on Labor Day. It was not very packed for Labor Day which I was very happy about! We ordered the cheddar fries first and had them bring our burgers after we were done so that they didn’t get cold by the time we were done with our fries. BUT5 minutes or so after we were done with the fries, our waitress brings out our burgers and I could immediately tell it was been sitting out for some time(not long). Sweetheart got the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich and I got the bacon guacamole burger. My burger was ok, except for the facts that my bacon was BURNT! It’s like they forgot about the bacon and saw that it was burnt but still put it on the burger… The first time we came here(about 2 years ago) seemed better somehow… at least my bacon wasn’t burnt then.

Food is really good, but the service is lacking. When we walked in there was no one there greet us we had to walk around to find someone and when did. The host was just sitting at a table and didn’t attempt to seat us, we were just told to sit anywhere. There was a lack of customer service and energy.

Not like what it used to be at all. Prices have gone up, and service is terribly unorganized. We had 3 waiters for 1 visit the other day and it wasn’t even busy. You would think more waiters for a table would be better but no. Most of the time they were sitting in the booth on there other side talking together for minutes on end or hanging out by the kitchen window chatting. Only got 1 refilled drinked and not even 1 for my mom. Food was extremely over salted. Asked for a well done mushroom burger and got a crispy crunchy burnt mushroom Burger. Caesar salad was watered down and croutons were spicy. And fired mushrooms were total grease. Never could get the waiters attention again after starting to eat. Just paid the bill and left and won’t ever gone back. The restaurants here in southlake town center seem to all be going down hill. Really sad. I’ve been to cheesecake factory, café express, and the bakery and service has been terrible.

When me and my family came here, we seated ourselves and was served quickly, the waiter was super friendly and got our orders back as soon as she could. We ordered cheese bacon fries as our appetizer, and it was beyond delicious! When waiting for your food, you can watch various sports games on the television; or admire all of the photos on the walls. When my family and I ordered arrived(Green chili cheeseburger with extra guacamole, cheddar cheese burger, plain Jane burger) food arrived only 15 or so minutes later, we dug in. Our burgers had some weird, but unique taste due to the hamburgers buns with poppy seeds. Overall, the experience here was wonderful! Go here whenever you can, or you’ll be missing out!

We’ve gone here a few times for drinks after a movie and to sit on the patio and people watch. I don’t know why my husband likes it so much, it’s kinda divey. The varnish on the tables is coming off so everything feels sticky. Food is awful but cheap. The drinks are good so it’s got that going for it. Service is ok too. I’m just meh about this place. I’d go to Cheesecake Factory if that place didn’t suck so much.

I’m not new to Snuffer’s it is a Dallas staple and the quintessential bar food. Snuffer’s is where my friends and I use to eat. Especially, after a long night of partying on Lower Greenville. While shopping at Southlake Town Square my friend and I stumble upon this location. She’s never eaten at Snuffer’s and I felt obligated to make her eat here. We walked in and it was a nice crowd. We were greeted with a sign that said«Please seat yourself» so that’s what we did. I informed my friend that they are known for their cheese fries. Unfortunately, she can’t enjoy it because she’s lactose intolerant. Oh the humanity. She doesn’t know what she’s missing. She ordered the classic and a side salad. I ordered the mini sliders and it came with fries. I opted for onion rings instead. The burger was seasoned very well. The beef was very juicy and cooked perfectly. The buns were very soft and buttery. I was feeling very nostalgic while eating. The onion rings were okay. It wasn’t the best I ever had. But it was far from the worse too. My friend really enjoyed her side salad. I think more than her burger. LOL! Our service was really fast and we had no issues. I don’t know if it was because of the time we went. But my server was on point. I have no complaints.

This is an updated review since I just dined her yesterday. Terrible experience and possibly won’t return after this last visit. We sat down and I ordered a margarita and 2 waters with some fried pickles. My gf ordered a drink and those came out quick after 10 mins she came and took our order. 2 burgers and cheese fries. 15 mins later we receive our burgers, but never got the fried pickles. We then receive those, and they are super burnt. The waitress comes by and says we were supposed to get those a long time ago and they are burnt, but then just walks away. We never got our cheese fries until we both finished our burgers and she said she was going to send the manager over but only brought us back our check. Not thrilled when that bill was $ 50 for some burgers and fries. Should be a lot better than that.

Love the turkey burger and of course the cheese fries. Wish they had volume on game nights for the TV’s. Great service always!

I am a server myself and this place sucks. Horrible service. Self seating so we sat on the patio, server never came so we went to the bar. He was rude and obviously didn’t want to be at work. Nobody ever helped us after that and we left. Good luck.

I really hate to give snuffers a bad review. Growing up I went to the lower Greenville location after SMU games with my family. So I have great memories of cheese fries and family. This location doesn’t hold a candle to the original. Service is always slow and the food isn’t fresh! Even the beer is never cold. I really wish they would step up their game! I would be nice to have a great sports bar in slake!!!

We returned expecting the consistent service that we received the many times that we have visited Snuffers and it wasn’t the same. The staff was«doing their job» and it seemed less clean than before. Not sure if management has changed but there is a noticeable difference. The loaded fries portion is smaller and more expensive — although it’s still tastes great, I prefer consistency. The burgers are still amazing but the slight price change was new. It’s casual dining, not fine dining out gourmet. I don’t mind paying for it if it’s worth it but I returned because the deals are great and the food was even better. I’ll go back, just not as often. Please NOTE(The happy hour price may have changed since the posting of the accompanied photo.)

Has the feel of failure. I will be surprised if this location does not go out of business. Can’t draw crowds and bored servers even w $ 1 budlights.
