I really don’t like this location. I like Babies R Us in general and think they have a great return policy, but this location really blows. It’s super small and never has what I’m looking for. Most of the employees are pot head teenagers that obviously hate their jobs and customers.(I know this because I have witnessed a store employee getting high in her car in the parking lot) There is always a ridiculously long line only one person checking out, while there are a million employees standing around doing nothing. Blahhh…I really hope the opening of the new Buy Buy Baby in Southlake will help this store get its crap together.

Hot wheels and matchbox cars are popular… so I am at a loss as to why this location and also other toys r us locations barely ever restock after months and months of having the same small selections on the pegs. Not only that, but they don’t stock the newest ones… and they have one of the highest prices for hot wheels. Go get them at Wal-Mart instead.

Horrible, awful, no good, will never be back!!! Came in this afternoon to buy another baby gift off of the registry. I wanted to ship it to their house but pay cash. I thought that would be simple. I was very very very very very wrong!!! The first lady in the baby section told me I could not do this. Then the people at guest services told me I could. So I ordered my gift paid cash and left. Checked my email a few hours later and the confirmation was wrong!!! The gift is addressed to me but with my boyfriends last name! I know it probably should not be a big deal… But giving a gift my boyfriends friends and having my first name and his last name is very embarrassing! I’m so over toys«R» Us and babies R us. I will never shop there again!!!

Small store and often with low to no stock in diapers — how’s that even possible with a baby specialty side? And while the staff at customer service is helpful I often wonder about the floor staff and regular cashiers. I once asked for the location of pull ups, the girl just gave me a blank stare and said they didn’t carry them, all the while I was staring right at their website that said they had them in stock at the store. Needless to say I eventually found them off on an end cap. Then when I check out I get the same girl I just asked to locate them and I pointed them out for any future inquiries and she just blew me off, said she didn’t really know and that it wasn’t her job, wth? I’ll spend a little more on gas and head to Lewisville, for this to be in Southlake the service and stock is deplorable.

Really great customer service! Not the largest of stores but the staff is really helpful and personable.

I came to the Babies R Us half of this store to buy baby spoons. They didn’t have any. Seriously. They hadn’t stocked in six weeks, something to do with holiday items. I asked an employee about the logic of that, and she said, «I know. It’s ridiculous.» Two weeks after that visit I was there looking for something else and there were two customers searching in vain for baby spoons. Still not stocked. Also, registry items are not located where they are indicated and products on shelves don’t match the price and description below them. Huge hassle. For a last-minute birthday gift, you’ll find something here. If you are looking for something specific or trying to shop on someone’s baby registry, I’d skip it.

Intresting layout. This is a combo store of both toys r us and babies are us. So it is the size of what one of those stores normally is split in half. So honestly the selection in both sides is about half of what other babies r us and toys r us. Yet its nice to have the option of a toys r us on this side of town and its a lot better maintained than the stores on pipeline.

Small small store. Not the best selection but I manage to find nice gifts for my grandson.

This is smaller than your typical TRU store. It doesn’t help that it shares the square footage with the Babys R Us, but then again these stores have always had overlapping merchandise. If my retail memory serves me, TRU started BRU, but then TRU got into financial trouble and spun off BRU. In any case, it’s nice to have an alternative to Walmart and Target in Grapevine when you need to get that last minute party gift for your kid’s class mate. Oh — and they have an awesome amount of Legos at this store. No more driving to Lewisville for their sales!
