He is admitted to the Connecticut and New York bars, as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He was counsel in many published decisions in state and federal courts.

Business Owner
Alex has worked as an Assistant Professor at University of Connecticut School of Law and as a Public Defender in New York City. He was a shareholder at Cohen & Wolf, P.C. in its Bridgeport Office and a partner at the New York office of Ross and Hardies. Since 2000, Alex has been in his own practice. Alex brings his 30+ years of trial and appellate experience and applies it to every matter. He is fully able to handle your case with personal attention in order to obtain the best possible results for you.
Alex lives in Westport with his wife, Beth, and their son. Originally from New Britain, Alex has lived in Fairfield County for the past 25 years. After graduating from Kingswood-Oxford School in West Hartford, Alex attended Cornell University where he graduated in 1980 with a degree in History. He graduated from University of Connecticut School of Law in 1983. Alex is an avid oarsman and was one of the first members of the Saugatuck Rowing Association in Westport.
