I have been getting my hair done by Mimi’s since before I can remember. Mimi has been doing my mom’s hair since before even then! Mimi and her staff (mainly her daughters) are sweet and friendly. The place may not look like much, but it’s the care that goes into the hair that matters! Her relaxers set in well with good care, her braids are often flawless and her cuts are just what you ask for. The prices are what is to be expected for black hair care in an area where competition is not so rich. A relaxer is about $ 50-​$ 70 here. Going to school on the East Coast now, I know it’s possible to find cheaper relaxer jobs as there are so many options, but I couldn’t trust anyone to put an ounce of chemicals near my head unless their name was Mimi Jones.
