Don’t ever go here. I was court ordered to get an alcohol evaluation, and I chose ACCS because it was the closest to my house. What a mistake! The counselor was late for my appointment, rude and very unkempt with poor hygeine. After my evaluation she told me she was recommending 6 months of alcohol counseling, which I wasn’t happy about and politely let her know. She asked if I wanted to sign up right away, to which I replied that I would be going somewhere else to do my counseling. She dropped my paperwork on the receptionist’s desk and stomped away. 2 weeks later when I went to court to pick up my final evaluation she had added 6 months of individual thereapy, 6 months of probation, random drug tests (my case had absolutely nothing to do with drugs, nor is there any drug use in my history) random search and seizures, weekly check ins with breathalyzer tests, all in addition to the 6 months of alcohol counseling she had originally told me. I find it ridiculous that the fate of my court case lies in the hands of a woman who wears sweatpants to work. If anyone is even remotely serious about getting g help of any kind, I recommend anywhere but ACCS.

Poor group sessions which allow the people who talk incessantly to control the group. Group leaders fail to keep them contained so others may have a chance to talk. Try someplace else.
