We specialize in providing key equipment to make meetings and conventions a success — Computers, printers and copiers but also AV equipment such as Projectors and large TV/​Monitors for breakout rooms and exhibit booths.

While the office is only open Monday thru Friday, we provide our customers with deliveries and tech support on weekends and odd hours too. Emergency weekend requests are welcome.

History

Established in 1984.

After working in devleloping operating systems and compilers and getting exposure to Unix and early microcomputers at University of Illinois I opened what I think is the first retail computer store in the state here in Reno Nevada in 1977. After a merger with a chain I began to rent and lease computer equipment. Reno/​Sparks is a popular convention destination and we found ourselves getting more and more requests to help both the associations (which needed help for their office gear) and also their exhibitors to enhance booths with Audio-​Visual equipment.

We are only a staff of 3 plus qualified part-​time helpers, but we take care of groups that need well over 100 computers. We still enjoy providing personalized service!

Business Owner

I’m an Air Force brat who grew up mostly in San Antonio Texas.

My bachelor’s degree is from Stanford University, and I did an MBA from University of Illinois.

The business history is also my history. I love living in Reno and being able to hike and bike in the Sierras, visit Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake, fish in remote tiny streams and take photos of the area and its people.
