I Because Inspecting a home and repairing a home are different I’ve invested hundreds of hours in my education. I possess an Inspector of Structures Certificate issued by the Nevada Division of Real Estate. I’m a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspector (InterNACHI), the most elite home inspector association, I’m also a Insured Member or the National Association of Residential Real Estate Professionals.

We hired Rob for our home inspection of a 4 bd/​3.5 bath house in Tahoe and he did a great job. He pointed out many things we had not considered and found some problems we were unaware of. He was professional, easy to get a hold of, timely and knowledgeable. We will certainly hire him again if this house doesn’t work out and would definitely recommend him to anyone who asked for an inspection referral.

Rob Ernst performed an inspection for us on a home we were purchasing on the west shore of Tahoe. He was very responsive to setup the appointment and was on time and prepared. We were very impressed with how thorough and detail oriented Rob was on the inspection. We walked through the entire home with Rob as he inspected it and along the way he explained each thing he found and his concerns. He also taught us how to take care of the house as we have never owned a house in a climate that receives a lot of snow.
We feel like we got more than just an inspection from Rob and feel confident that he assessed and inspected the house very thoroughly. He also explained how to repair some of the issues and provided suggestions on who could help. Highly recommend.

Had Rob perform a inspection on a condo that I’m purchasing. Showed up on time, took plenty of pictures, was very knowledgeable about codes and produced a detailed report on the issues that need to be considered before purchasing.
