On Command

My dog isn’t all that friendly but he means the world to me. Despite his attitude problem, he (and I) have always been treated with respect and a sense of welcome. Specifically, CeCe grooms him perfectly and loves on him while he’s there… as if he were her own.

I just boarded our dog at On Command again. He had a great visit. I am always happy with the care he gets and safety. Thank you.

My German Shepherd sheds constantly and is difficult to brush. The grooming staff get all his extra fur out and he is so silky and soft when they are done. They like big dogs too which is not true for all groomers. It’s a busy shop but it’s always clean, everyone is friendly and they are always nice to him and myself.

Our Labradors have been attending daycare and boarding at On Command for many years. We have tried other facilities in Reno/​Sparks and On Command is by far the best. The staff is extremely professional and the facility is amazing and so clean. We can actually go on vacation and enjoy ourselves knowing our dogs are having fun and are in good hands — they love going to On Command!

We love On Command. Our English Bulldog has been going there for over 4 years. All of the staff treat him like a rock star. Whether he’s there for a few hours for daycare or over a week while we’re out of town, I always have complete peace of mind knowing Arthur is in great hands at his second home. I definitely recommend On Command for anyone who wants a safe, clean place to take your dog for boarding, training, grooming or just a day of socializing and fun.

I wouldn’t trust any one else with my pups, every one here is amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable. My dogs get so excited when we pull in to the parking lot.

Wonderful team of trainers. Took our dog to training when he was a puppy and it was very helpful for him to learn with distraction.

Let me start off by saying that we have owned dogs all of our lives and have used many boarding facilities and «hands down» On Command Boarding is far superior to the competition. We feel at ease when we bring our little Maddie there for a play day or an overnight stay. Our labradoodle immediately starts wagging her tail the minute she enters the immaculate lobby. We are always greeted by the receptionist with a warm smile. They also have on site groomers there and we were very fortunate to have CeCe as her personal groomer. We have been taking our Malamute to On Command for grooming and boarding for years. We previously had groomers that would do great one time and then do terrible On Command has always stayed consistent. The staff is friendly and always excited to see her. She’s always excited to go.

Every one of our dogs has been through On Commands training programs. From beginner classes to advanced.
Every one of them obey hand commands without hesitation. This has defused some potentially bad situations in dog parks when other dogs are not controlled.
This is a full service facility offering boarding, training, and grooming. We’ve used all of the above and every service is excellent.
On Command is the only facility we trust with our furry companions. The staff is kind, respect the love we have for our companions, and treat them like their own.
On Command is the only facility we use and recommend to family and friends. We don’t worry about leaving our dogs over night because there is someone there 24/​7, which is comforting to us. They’re not left alone and someone is there in case of emergency.
If you haven’t been to On Command go take a tour of the facility! It’s impressive!

«My 6/​7month old puppy was so bad it was not enjoyable to have him. That shouldn’t be what it’s like to have a dog. Took Dexter to the 5 week beginners class. He is now 14 months old and he is amazing. He listens and respects myself and my fiancée. I realized the problem wasn’t Dexter, it was us (his owners) because we didn’t know how to train him, we never taught him to listen to us. He is a cuddle bug now and my protecter. My girl is so happy to go to OC. More importantly, the people who work there seem genuinely happy to see her. The environment there is very positive. You can tell the employees like their jobs and this does make a huge difference. Dogs can sense this attitude.

Every experience we have had with On Command with both dog training and boarding have been very positive. It is the only place I would take my dog to be boarded.
They are truly awesome!

We have been taking Atticus and Brownie to Barry and Tracy for 5 years. It is like having family watch our pups. All staff are wonderful! ! The training has been so good for our dogs. We use On Command approximately once a month and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. We love you guys! !

I take my doodle for grooming by Jamie. She does a great job and I give her 5 stars. She takes 3 – 5 hours to groom him and a pointer I have. We have been going there since before they moved to their location on Greg St. Today they charged me a dog day care fee because my dogs were there for a few extra hours. They had never done this before and did not tell me they were going to start doing this. Also, my dogs were not in the day care where they got to play with other dogs. They spend most of that time with the groomer. I could understand if they had given me a notice that they were going to do this. I love Jamie and how she grooms my doodle but will be looking for a new place. The grooming is expensive and I felt that this covered the time they were there, until I could pick them up.
This is an update. I decided I would try On Command for another grooming. Jamie told me the owners want me to take down my above review if I want to bring my dogs back to her. I told her that I would be happy to make an addendum provided they agreed not to add on or increase their fees without notice. They put her in the position of having to ask me to do this when they were not even willing to discuss it directly with me. It brings words like «unethical» and «disrespectful» to mind. If Jamie moves to another business, I would be happy to have her groom my dogs again.

I have been going to On Command for a while now for my German Shepard Bear for boarding and training. The staff there treats Bear phenomenally. I trust them to take the beat care of him. Two people who really do a great job amongst others are Jeanette and Courtney. Jeanette welcomes you with a smile and has a great attitude while working with you and your animal. Courtney trained Bear and she was so professional and great at her job. You can see she takes pride in what she does and is always there to answer question. I would recommend this place to everyone for 5 star treatment of your animals.

No thanks. He will stay at his current boarding facility that appreciates my patronage.

My dogs always come out of there happy and worn out from all of the play time! Now I can go on vacations and know my fur babies are having their own vacation!

I am so happy my dog and I found On Command! My little one started her training program with OC at 1 year 11 months. Why this long? Because we had used a different training program first. I had her in Petsmart training which is very treat/​clicker based but it didnt’ stick. The classes at OC are SO much different and she is responding so well to them. I’ve never seen my dog do a better sit/​stay/​heel then since she’s had this class. The owners at OC attend the class if not run it themselves which I find really refreshing. Their facility is beautiful and CLEAN and my dog is always happy to go there. We haven’t used their boarding services yet but plan to soon! Pippa got her first groom today and looks wonderful– they even put a little bandana on her!
I’m really happy that I’ve found a boarding/​grooming/​training company that I love this much for my dog. As soon as we’re done with class 1 we’re going to enroll in class 2 because we’re having so much fun!
