Reno KTM-NMS Nevada Motorcycle Specialties

Easily the best bike shop in Northern Nevada. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the bikes and accessories. They know their customers as well as they know their products. I have had excellent experiences buying several bikes and having them serviced. Everything was as promised and completed on time. If any welding is needed this is the place to go. I have brought in motorcycle parts, kart radiators as well as aluminum boat parts and they are always repaired perfectly.

I recently bought a KTM and brought it in for tires and a rim on a Thursday. I was told it would be done in a day had a ding in the rim. I gave them two days and on Saturday it wasn’t ready for riding, but I can deal with it and will pick up Monday and miss a weekend of riding. Monday comes and that’s the day they order parts and it’s three to four days for a rim and moose tubes? Alright, I guess the vendor is the one vendor who takes 4 days with amazon taking less for a dishwasher. Why wouldn’t you stock one rim, you’re a dealer? Well on Friday it’s ready minus one moose tube, I said close enough.
Sure enough, a week later and I go in and it’s without the tubes in both tires? The service guy copped an attitude and said it was already mounted without the tube and he’ll do both when they come in. How about get off your butt and get to work instead of your crappy attitude?
I only gave it two stars instead of one because the desk people and kid checking me out was nice.
The good news RMS works on KTM and I won’t be switching shops. I would take off the tires mounted while you wait if you can’t do it in a week!

I originally had some issues with KTM of Reno, they have recently addressed my concerns very nicely. I strongly recommend this dealership. After all they sell the best bikes on the planet.

You infer in your review that you have been into our shop many times. Customer service is a top priority here and our counter and show room are just a few feet away from my desk. I do not remember ever meeting you, but it is difficult to ascertain if we have ever spoken because you do not have a photo on your review.

This is an outstanding motorcycle dealer. Without a doubt it is better than any dealer in the vicinity of Reno, and it ranks with or better than any dealer I’ve dealt with in San Diego. Mark and everyone else at the store is extremely helpful and knowledgable, service is professional, and motorcycle pricing is very competitive. Unlike the stores that sell many brands, this dealer knows their products exceptionally well and cares about your satisfaction after the sale. Mark personally delivered my motorcycle to my house which was over 60 miles away, and every time I’ve been in for warranty work or routine maintenance, it has been done impeccably and on time. This is one of very few purchasing experiences where my expectations have been exceeded. I can’t recommend visiting them enough if you are in the market for a KTM.

Picked up a bike that wasn’t working off Craigslist. Man, it was a mistake, but Chester at Reno KTM really helped me out. They probably charged me for ¹⁄₃ of the labor they put into the bike — I think they felt bad for me, lol). Anyway, everyone there is knowledgeable, very friendly, and willing to work after hours to get the job done. These guys rock. THANKS!
