I’ve been going to Sneakers maybe once every three months or so for a few years now — I’m not sure why I haven’t wrote a review yet but after going this past weekend I’ve decided it’s time. Sneakers is located in what used to be the Scolaris shopping center on Disc. It’s a nice, quiet corner location where you can sit outside(only one bench) and watch people drive by going on about the day or night. It is connected to(but seperated with two sets of interior doors — which is why patrons are allowed to smoke) Pizza Baron. The menus they have for lunch/dinner is all stuff that you get from Pizza Baron next door(they bring it to you) and the prices are excellent. Try the Jalapeño Poppers! YUM! The prices on drinks blow me away. We tend to frequent the Western Village more often than not since drinks are free when you gamble(dont forget to tip!). Sometimes we go to Bully’s but the tab is always well over $ 100.00. We have found that we can get out of sneakers with food and a good night for around $ 60.00. I agree with a previous reviewer that said the place is a tad«divey». But in a good way. It’s not divey as in dirty and dark and seedy. It’s divey as in small and comfortable without the flash of a nightclub or blaring TV’s of a larger sports bar. Sneakers actually has the cleanest bathrooms I have every seen in a bar. They always have seat covers, they have paper towls and a trash can with a swivel top instead of a push top. Greg on bar is awesome. He’s super friendly and never lets you go dry. This is a great place to stop in for a few. Order some grum and eat at your chair or take it to go!

I think a lot of changes have been made to this place over the last few years. It’s now connected to Pizza Baron, so you can order from their menu. Food is good, drinks are good. They have a full bar with slots and a lot of televisions. Jukebox for your own listening pleasure. Simple place, right down the street from me, so it’s convenient for a quick drink or bite to eat. Prices are decent too!

I come here a few times a year, usually after playing a soccer game out at Golden Eagle. Last time I stopped in, the menu was greatly reduced. Looks like they’re sharing their kitchen now with the adjacent pizza joint(Pizza Baron?). I remember the menu previously having burgers and things, but looks like it’s mainly pizza and a few deep fried items now(fish and chips, chicken fingers, etc). Simple menu, but it’s dirt cheap. Atmosphere’s a bit divey, but they’ve got a fair number of TVs scattered around, and had the NFL games on. Gambling at the bar, where it looked like a fair number of regulars were camped out. A few smokers at the bar — not sure if the kitchen isn’t technically part of the bar now, or if they’re just scofflaws. After a blustery cold soccer game, I ordered a hot toddy and a double order of fries. Total for this was a steal at under five bucks. Some of the other guys on the team had the fish and chips and what not, and even with a drink(hot toddy as well), individual totals were under 10 bucks. Server was friendly, and had no issue splitting our tabs(party of 7). Not a place I’d go out of my way to visit, but a perfect stop for a quick drink and a snack after being out at Golden Eagle. ..

Good place for gamblin, drinkin, listening to music and sports… Bar staff was nice. Customers who are inconsiderate with their cigarettes but cool place.

Horrible. Here for a softball tournament, want some lunch so we come here… the place is near dead when we arrive which was at noon. We waited for service, 15 minutes or so later the lady takes our order of drinks and food, which was two waters, a ginger ale, two green salads, and an order of chicken strips … 15 minutes later we finally get our water but the couple with us did not… ten minutes later they got theirs… we finally got our chicken at Maybe 1:20… still no salads… I finally canceled the salads and they were still brought to us ten minutes later. but I said no and sent them back I will not wait near an hour and a half. for salad. the other table with us had ordered pizza and wing combo which came with bread… almost two. hours after they ordered, already ate their pizza… the boys got their wings and bread!!! Are you kidding me??? We have been here two hours. we’re done eating and NOW you bring the rest of our FOOD??? will never ever step foot in here again… btw not ONE drink refill… she never asked if we needed more water… worst place ever … don’t waste your time or money…

Absolutely terrible service. The food took an hour and a half to get a medium pizza. I don’t think this is a properly managed business. Unorganized on a Saturday afternoon. All around, very bad service and the quality of food was very poor.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Worst service ever. How long does it take to serve 12 wings and one medium pizza? If you are here, ANHOURAND A HALF. And how long for 3 sodas? 20MINUTES. And the place was empty! We had 3 tables in a place of 12. Felt even worse for the table next to us who waited an hour and a half for a garden salad. Our last table got their pizza an hour after ordering and their wings and garlic bread 45 minutes after that. Soda was flat, pizza was just ok. Beer tasted disgusting. Was flat, sour, and tasted like the glasses were dirty. Oh, and when they try to give you a single ply paper plate and you ask for another so you don’t get grease on their table, they give you dirty looks. If you want good food, decent service, not even great service, but bare bones decent, and a cold beer, turn around and run as fast as you can in the other direction.

They have a great happy hour and the bartenders are awesome. The food is not spectacular, but the prices are reasonable. A fun place to hang out with friends.

Service was not good. The server really couldn’t have cared less about us, and a couple times we had to walk from our table to the bar to get our drinks. Plus the check had wrong amounts on it. The food seemed like mediocre bar food, an I’ve had much better else where. They did have good deals for their happy hour though.

Neighbor hood watering hole. Everyone who works there is extremely nice. Havent tried food, but looks and smells pretty good. Great place to pit stop for drinks before or after dinner, or anytime on weekends. It is like a mini bully’s with cheap drinks.
