Tropical Carpet and Tile Cleaning

Our family just bought 10 year old home in Sparks and we called Topical Carpet and Tile Cleaning to clean the carpets and the house prior to us moving in. We had some concerns about the carpet since it was 10 years old and had an odd crunching sound when it was walked on. My wife and I greatly appreciated Julio’s honesty when he evaluated our carpets. He told us that they were old, not high quality, the crunch wouldn’t go away completely with cleaning, and would probably only last another year or two anyways. He very easily could have just quoted us the carpet cleaning and we never would have known better. Based on his evaluation, we decided to replace the carpets, but we’ll absolutely use them for cleaning in the future.
For the house cleaning, Maria quoted a very reasonable price to clean just about everything in the house prior to us moving in. Her crew cleaned all of the cabinets, drawers, drawer rails, knobs, sinks, toilets, showers, floors, inside windows, window tracks, blinds, light fixtures, and I’m sure other things I can’t think of right now. They did an excellent job and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

We needed a rental home cleaned for our move out. It was a rush move and I had a week to find a cleaner and a two day window to have it cleaned.
Maria popped over on a Saturday afternoon to quote, we agreed on pricing and they fit me in.
They worked their butts off on my place and it looks better than when the house was shown to me. While known for their carpets they do a great job with everything; of course these carpets look brand new now!

Having contacted Julio through the Better Business Bureau listings, I also contacted three references he gave me. They all raved about him and his crew. We had a huge job redoing an abused rental property in Fernley, and we are delighted to have chosen Tropical. They repainted the whole interior, removed layers of old wallpaper, painted the exterior trim, washed all the windows inside and out, and then sent in a whirlwind cleaning crew who performed a miracle in 8 hours, and then cleaned the carpeting. I am extremely impressed with the service they rendered and the willingness to accommodate the changes and additions that we made as we went along, without varying too much from their original bid or timing. I would recommend Tropical Carpet and Tile Cleaning for their intelligence and attention to detail in addition to the great quality of their work.

I had them come over to my house to get a deep clean before family came into town for the holidays and it looks amazing. They really do a great job. They clean in all the little cracks and seals that most over look. Very friendly and easy to schedule an appointment. I never thought a house could get this clean and the windows were almost too clean because I nearly walked through the sliding door a couple times. If you have animals I would recommend you have them clean because they seriously deep clean the house and you would probably would not know that you have animals.
Julio and Maria were great and worked with my schedule with getting an estimate and scheduling it right away. I will be calling them from now on for all my house cleaning needs.

Julio and Maria were great! I recently moved out of Reno and had to find someone to take over my apartment, so I wanted to make sure it was cleaned up and good as new before they moved in. After calling a few places and being underwhelmed with what they had to offer, I went with Tropical Carpet and they did an awesome job. They were very responsive, which was important because I wasn’t around to see the apartment after they cleaned it. The new tenant went to inspect it and said it looked great, and passed his «USMC White Glove Inspection». I don’t think you can get a better recommendation than that.

Did a Great Job! No surprise charges, like all of the other companies in town. Very quick, professional and accommodating. Not to mention they did my whole house in less than an hour and same day as I called. I would recommend them to anyone.

As far as the actual cleaning services: WOW! Solid work on cleaning carpets, but what I LOVE is their house cleaning services. The house cleaners work in tandem with the carpet cleaners, to make sure everything is tip-​top by the time they’re done. They work with smiles on their faces, and with an attention to detail that, well honestly, I didn’t know my house had.
My favorite thing about Tropical: they’re great with my 5 year-​old daughter, who tells them 1) you’re not supposed to touch that (when they’re dusting the fine china), 2) did you clean my room, yet?, and 3) make sure you do a good job. LOL.
They smile and chat with her, and make her feel good about her clean house. :) That means A LOT to me!
