A Salon & Spa

I went to A Salon and Spa because of a Living Social deal on a Brazilian Blowout. I was highly impressed with my service and left looking great! I would definitely recommend Anthony to anyone thinking about giving this place a shot.

TERRIBLE! The owner actually did my color, and I had a Groupon for a blowout. Well the color ended up being orange, like bozo orange. And he actually charged me! I did it for my thirtieth birthday bash, and he could not fix it for two weeks. Needless to say I did not go back for him to fix it, and I had Groupon refund me for the blowout (which I didn’t get), because I would never let this guy touch my hair again after such an awful experience. He was nice enough, but he fried my hair, putting color on, and then putting highlighting bleach on all over to lighten it to save time, instead of just using color again. I had deep burns all over my scalp, to the point of bleeding. He knew he screwed up bigtime (yet still charged me for the color). Also, just a note, most of the people that work there are old (like 60+), and not really up-​to-​date with current trends and colors. I shouldv’e known walking in, that the Groupon discount wasn’t worth the risk of this place, and I should’ve left right away. I should upload the pictures that the next hairdresser took of my burnt scalp and bright orange hair. THE DISCOUNT ISN“T WORTH IT!

I was looking for a new salon when my former stylist moved away. I found A Salon and Spa through my best girl, Lindsay. A friend of her’s from elementary school had recently started working here (Christy).
I must admit, I was quite nervous my first time in the chair here, only because my stylist was a recent graduate from cosmetology school. Not to discount anyones’s skills, of course. I’m generally nervous when anyone new cuts my hair; this just added to it
Anyhow, Christy made sure she knew exactly what I wanted before she even got the scissors close to my head. She knew I was nervous so she made sure she had plenty of time to deal with my outrageousness.
Thank God for people with patience and awesome hair cutting skills!!! Christy is officially my one and only. She does a great job and is always willing to listen to what I want and provide feedback if needed.
A Salon and Spa is located in a little strip mall. You wouldn’t suspect that it’s such an adorable space from the outside. The inside is decorated so well. It has a warm feeling about it and everyone is extremely friendly.
To top it all off, A Salon and Spa carries excellent products and prices are great! $ 18 bucks for a haircut is a bargain.
