I went in for lunch on a Monday, and asked the guy at the counter what he suggested as it was my first time there. He suggested the classic, which is also the Monday special, so it was cheaper than usual(maybe $ 7 normally, and $ 5.50 on special?). He made it for me without tomatoes, as I asked, and it was delicious. I thought it was filling, but I don’t eat much. The quality of the ham was really the great part of it. It was like Thanksgiving/Christmas ham… on my sandwich… in May. Anyway, I will definitely go again. It can be very pricey, especially if you’re buying a big ham or ham by the pound, but definitely ask the people at the counter their thoughts on what they enjoy. They might have some good insight!

I recently came to this Honeybaked Ham about a week ago, Costa Vida next door was incredibly busy, so I said to my wife«why don’t we try that sandwich place,» and boy was I surprised. The young employee greeted us when we walked in and was very friendly making suggestions, asking how our day was and really keeping a conversation. Besides the service being great, the food was amazing! Yeah it was a sandwich but wow what a sandwich, the quality of the meat really makes a big difference. We liked it so much we inquired and found out we could buy a small ham right there no waiting necessary which is just what we did. I couldn’t get it out of my head how good it was I just had to write a review. 5⁄5 service 5⁄5 food quality 5⁄5 awesome factor

I decided to give this place a try when I heard they send out a coupon for a free Classic Ham Sandwich on your birthday. I had always wanted to try it, as it sits right next to Starbucks, which I frequent quite often — so the free birthday sandwich was a great excuse to finally try it out. I went in around 2pm, the place was deserted and dim, I wondered if I had walked in at closing time! An employee came from the back and I mentioned that I had a coupon for a free Ham Classic sandwich, to which the employee rolled his eyes — it made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but he proceeded to go to the back to make my sandwich. While I waited, I perused the menu — I was surprised to see that the sandwich I had just ordered was around $ 7 normally! Considering the price — I felt like I was getting a great deal(free!), so while I don’t think I’d pay the regular price for the sandwich, I definitely suggest signing up on their website if you’ve got a birthday coming up and getting one for free. The employee did come around the corner to hand me my to-go bag, but didn’t offer any greeting at all, until after I piped up and said thank you, and have a nice day. When I got home and unwrapped the sandwich, I was a little surprised at how small the sandwich was, considering the price — but the ham was absolutely fantastic, as was a sweet sauce they used on the sandwich. The croissant was dry and nothing special, the tomatoes were unripe and the lettuce was a bit wilty. Overall though, I guess you’re paying for the ham — so if you’re willing for fork out $ 7 for a ham sandwich, this place might be for you. I was glad that I got the sandwich for free, but I don’t think I’ll be going back again or recommending it to my friends.

Not impressed. Showed up for lunch around 1pm. Nobody in the place except us and guy working there. We should have taken this as a sign and left. Instead, we order 2 sandwiches. My wife asks for no mayo on her sandwich. The prices for sandwiches were a bit pricey. Sandwiches arrived. Same guy that took order made the sandwiches. Guess what was on wife’s sandwich? Yep, mayo. WTH? How did that get lost in translation? He had to make another sandwich which took forever. I then asked for black pepper for my potato salad. The guy says that they don’t have black pepper in the restaurant. OK. Sandwiches were OK. Not worth the $$. The topper was the bathroom. The soap dispenser was broken(see picture). How are employees supposed to wash their hands without soap? When I told the guy about this he said that the owner knew about it and his solution was to jury rig the soap dispenser to try and put soap out. Not sure how that worked out since I could not get soap out of it. I think health inspector may want to pay a visit to this place. We won’t be coming back ever.

Paying for quality — I admit it, sometimes I squeak when I walk, but there are a few places that I will the money fly and this is one of them. Whenever my son and I are in the area he always begs me to stop here(he inherited his good taste from me). The sandwiches are awesome because they feature their great ham. Bottom line: If you want super quality, extra delicious ham and are willing to pay for it on a sandwich, then this is your place, otherwise you might want to get the $ 5 foot-long at subway.

I’ve eaten here twice, having a sandwich and side both times. For a place that is all about ham you’d expect gold in the meat, especially when the combos approach $ 10. The sandwiches and sides are good, but nothing to write home about. They offer sandwiches with certain variations of bread, meat, and toppings. No Subway-type selections here. Sides are chips, potato salad, etc. The catered sides look really good, but aren’t sold over-the-counter. I always gawk at the prices of the ham sold by the pound. They start at $ 7.99 per pound and go up!
