We teach beginning to advanced sewing skills to children as young as 6 yrs. old to any age beyond that. It is never too late to learn! We also teach pattern alterations and pattern drafting, and have lessons for the industry of fashion design. Use one of our machines or bring your own. Many supplies and resources comes with several of the classes. Join an ongoing class or sign up for one of our specialty classes. Receive a free intro to sewing class with any class registration. Family discounts are available. Some notions are offered for sale.

History

Established in 2014.

Let’s Get Sewing! opened in July 2014. The owner and other instructors have a real passion for helping others gain or grow sewing skills. Special attention is given to the skills needed for the garment construction along with quilting, crafts, and home décor. The curriculum is very thorough and organized so skills build upon one another and any gaps in knowledge can be filled in. The owner, Elizabeth Pike, has been sewing since she was 8 years old. She has a current WA State teaching certificate for grades K-​12 and has been teaching for 30+ years. Other very qualified instructors also teach many of the technique classes.
