The food was good. Service was great. Bartender and drinks were awful. The drinks we ordered were terrible. I feel like a margarita is a bartending staple. We ordered 3 margaritas, 3 different ways. Each one was worse than the next. I won’t be back.

Service is good. Cosmos are pretty weak. They don’t taste sweet, flavorful, or even like alcohol. Just a quick stop in before checking in at the Red Lion.

Great way to settle into this pretty cozy Red Lion! Although I was requesting room service 30 mins prior to close, they brought up some fish and chips with a beer in 15 minutes. The IPA was nice and cold, food hot. The 2 halibut filets were nice and large, and hot and cruchy with a parmesan style beer batter. Really enjoyed the tartar sauce. Fries typical, cold by the time I moved to them. Coleslaw as expected, typical. Perhaps it was the 7 hours I just drove, but happy overall. Only thing that was lacking was the woman who answered the restaurant line… Unprofessional. She answered, I asked if they were still offering room service, then she held the phone just away where I could hear everything as she asked a man, «room service still? You ‘want’ this one?» I could hear him say, «what do they want?» Then she trailed off.‘well you take it.’ Then he came on the line. Customer service comes in all shapes and sizes, most people can’t give quality service. I can see how this place might only get 3 stars. That being said… Guy who took my order was quick, efficient, professional, and friendly. He was also great when he arrived with food. I will likely make mention of her unprofessional attitude when I check out. It’s a hotel, it’s a restaurant. I wouldn’t expect fire works at a $ 60/night hotel with room service — for that reason I’ll give it 5 stars.

We went to Ripples for Inlander Restaurant Week and it was AMAZING. I got the Riverside Bruschetta for my first course, Crab Stuffed Prawns for my second, and Crème Brulee for my third. The whole meal was incredible! Especially those Crab Stuffed Prawns! Everyone at our table ordered something different off the Restaurant Week menu so I got to try everything and there was not a disappointing dish. Our whole experience was great: our food was delicious, our server was attentive, the atmosphere was comfortable. And the chef even came out to talk to us about the dishes. Way to go Ripples! We’ll definitely be back.

SLOWSLOWSLOW. The restaurant was less than half full so I’m unsure why. Second night of restaurant week and they ran out of a main course and a desert. Two different orders of prime rib(one medium rare the other medium well) arrived exactly the same. Waitress was a sweetheart but was dealt a difficult hand. Plenty of better options available in Spokane. I’ll be avoiding this one.

We are big fans. Good food, great service, lovely view of the Spokane River. They have an amazing breakfast buffet… There is no reason you should leave hungry. I have enjoyed all the meals eaten here. Always fresh and home made.

This is a great restaurant perched right on the Spokane River. The American breakfast was incredible! Everything was cooked perfect. The happy hour menu is also nice. I had the nachos, which were in need of some thing. My freind had the apple salad and it was amazing according to him. The portions looked good. My other freind had the quesadilla and he all said they were great. I plan to return to this restaurant again during this trip. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to someone in the Spokane area.

The view is great and the place looks nice, but the food and service are horrible. At some point our waitress might have actually gone home and come back she was missing for so long. The steak tasted like medium-rare leather. This place would not be worth it at half the price. I imagine the only reason this place is still open is because it’s attached to the hotel.

Me and my sisters went to Ripples Riverside Grille for dinner and drinks last week. We were definitely impressed! The servers were wonderful and the restaurant was classy and clean. The indoor seating is nice, but the outdoor patio seating has a WONDERFUL view of the Spokane river. The drinks were delicious and our food was yummy… just a bit over-priced in my opinion. Did I mention that the parking was FREE? This is very appealing to me because I hate paying for parking in the downtown area. I will definitely be back again!

The view was great and interior was clean and warm. The food was completely unseasoned, salads were over dressed and the service was below quality. Servers should dress appropriately for the quality of food you are hoping to present.

Great little location beside the river — food is ok, drinks are good too but the service is slow even on the slowish nights.

Really enjoyed the setting looking out over the river, however the service was ok and the food was just ok. May return for drinks or happy hour…

Sorry Ripples, not a fan. PROS: Beautiful view, clean restaurant. I ordered fish n chips for 13 bucks, and received 2 pieces of herb seasoned fish that was over fried and not too tasty. Also the fries we received were soggy and cold. It took about 15 mins about we sat down to get our order– My wife ordered a drink and we had to ask the waitress several times for the drink. I dont recommend this place.

This is the lounge inside the Red Lion Riverside. They have a pretty cool acoustic singer songwriter live music on Tuesday nights. The service can be a bit slow at times but it’s a decent place lounge to hang out in when you are staying at the motel anyways.

Decent place to grab a cocktail & watch a football game. More lounge like than bar/grill but it hit the spot for our late night-cap needs.
