The financial aid people have horrible customer service, specifically the small Caucasian lady that works there has an attitude about everything even if you ask her the most simplest question, and when you apply for financial aid here expect to be coming back a lot because they tell you different things every time, overall the financial aid people need to work on their customer service because it really is terrible

This review is not to reflect on the teachers at SFCC. I spent a year at SFCC after attending North Idaho College in the past. The teachers I had classes with were great and do everything they can to help students. However, when it comes to the way this college is ran, its a mess to say the least. The people in the administrative and business offices don’t really seem to give a care and if you need anything done you’ll probably have to call or go in a few times. Calling one of the business offices is a something you can expect to make a day of in itself because you’ll be on hold forever. I had numerous problems with the schools website, and after being told three different answers from advisors when deciding what classes I needed to get my transfer degree, I decided to go back to NIC.

Its a good school. Teachers and students are very friendly and it’s great! Jut stay on track and stay positive and anything is possible. The ceramics class is amazing the teachers are very educated.
