Have eaten here several times. Have never been disappointed. Ordered a generic California roll & the Naruto Roll which has no rice and is instead wrapped in rolled cucumber. I found it to be a a nice change, light and tasty. Had 2 kinds of sashimi, salmon and yellowtail tuna. Both were fresh and delicious. Husband tried something new and ordered the Udon noodles that were stir fried with shrimp & chicken. He was very pleased with the dish and we both left stuffed to the max and very satisfied. If I had my choice, we’d eat here every week!

Oh my!!! I don’t live over here but my boyfriend and I were visiting a friend and wanted sushi so we saw this place on Unilocal and decided to stop in! Let me say I am obsessed with krab rangoons and they are amazing here. Everything is amazing. I eat sushi very frequently and this is by far one of the best places I’ve ever eaten sushi! You must stop here!!! We got the super crazy roll and angry dragon roll! Both amazing!

Awesome Super Crazy roll. It has peppered tuna in it. A home run. Food is terrific and service is great. We will come back soon to see how consistent they are. But based on our meal tonight, I’m betting his place hits it out of the park frequently. Second time here. As expected. Consistent. Every bit as good as the first time.

We went there for lunch based on all of the positive reviews. We ordered a spicy shrimp sushi app and hibachi steaks that came with noodles, veggies, soup, & salad. The sushi was not fresh tasting, the shrimp inside was VERY hard and seemed like it had been sitting awhile. The hibachi plate was pretty bland and even their white sauce was on the bland side. I had high hopes based on reviews, but it seems like most of the reviews are catered towards raw sushi. If you’re looking for hibachi food, there is better in town, and WAY better in Tampa.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call this place small, I think«intimate» is a more appropriate term. I decided to give them a shot based on their reviews, and of course my need for sushi. There was only one other diner there when I arrived for lunch, so my service was pretty outstanding. I decided upon two of their signature rolls, the Hwy 95 Roll, which consists of smoked salmon, krab stick, cream cheese, white fish deep fried with shrimp sauce. I also selected the Haiku East Roll, which is soft shell crab avocado, asparagus /tuna, salmon, yellowtail, white fish, and salmon roe on top. The rolls took a bit of time to arrive, but when they did they looked pretty good. I was not a huge fan of the Hwy 95 Roll, and preferred the Haiku East Roll, which, although better, still didn’t knock my socks off. For the price, there’s better sushi out there. If I found myself in the area again craving sushi, I would return. I will not be making a special trip to eat here though.

I live in Tampa but met up with a couple of friends here for the first time last night. The prices were as expected for a sushi restaurant, atmosphere was nice and was quiet(though it was a Monday night). Service was on point, bumping this from a 3 to a 4 star rating. We ordered a variety of rolls, all of which were decent. Being 40 minutes away I wouldn’t make a special trip to come here, but if friends who live in the area wanted to go again, I wouldn’t oppose.

Best sushi around! This is our regular place for sushi. They do not have a bad roll. I recommend the special rolls you are never disappointed.

This place made me fall in love with sushi! I have never been one to try sushi. It never appealed to me, but one day I had a sudden urge to try it, and I’m glad this was my first bite of it! The interior of the establishment is pleasant and clean. Service is friendly and this is definitely a family run restaurant. The sushi menu is extensive but you HAVE to get the Highway 19 roll. It is tempura shrimp, avocado, cream cheese, spicy tuna, and sauces. It is just amazing and the tuna just melts in your mouth. I like to share sushi, then order the chicken hibachi plate. Its the usual hibachi chicken, noodles, rice, and veggies. Its the exact same food you get at a hibachi steakhouse, but at a much lower price(and slightly smaller portion). Everything is well prepared and simply delicious. I just love this place and will most definitely be back!

Haiku Japanese Cuisine is a MUST for sushi lovers. Every dish that came to our table was fresh and arrived in a timely manner. There are so many sushi roll options, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend the volcano roll and the teriyaki beef bento. This is the best place in Spring Hill for sushi!

Not from the area and i noticed Haiku got 4.5 stars with quite a few reviews and it got my attention so i tried it out. I have to say i was quite disappointed. Ordered salmon sushi and i got a mound of rice and salmon as thin as my fingernail. Also had the pink lady roll and the valentine roll. Although not bad, it was not filling and i left spending nearly $ 40 for mediocre sushi. The service was poor too. Took over half hour to bring out the rolls and we were 1 of maybe 3 parties. Even the waitor felt bad. I give the place two stars and thats being lenient.

Usually go to Wasabi but their dirty dining review turned me off. Decided to try this place. Ordered the sashimi 10piece. Also ordered the sushi eel. The fish was fresh and tasty. A lot smaller pieces than Wasabi. I ordered another eel and this time the eel pieces were huge. Twice the size of the first serving. The waiter picked out the second serving. The sushi chef should take a lesson from him. They charge for hot tea. Wasabi didn’t. Usually tip the chef. Not this time. May try again but am on the fence.

Being from NYC I’m used to really good sushi but being in FL I was expecting to have to settle for ok sushi but I was pleasantly surprised! My whole meal was excellent and service was also great! I’d definitely go back!

Very good food… friendly staff. My compliments to the chef because everything was so tasty. Everything was also out suprisingly quick. Then again we went on a Wednesday night so i guess thats why. Our waiter was very attentive and always making sure our drinks were filled and that the food was delicious. There is definitely a large variety of sushi so you can find what you like or be adventurous and try as much as you can…

I tried the boneless duck, and this was recommended by Johnny our waiter. I found out that Johnny really knows what he’s talking about. It was so good, and I would return to try it again. This is what makes a restaurant worth coming back too, and spreading the good word about. Great job, Heiku, we’ll be back.

Good food! Sushi is always good. Can’t really complain about anything at Haiku. Very clean and stylish. White sauce is delicious. They have a small little sushi bar with tv’s. If we don’t get sushi we get their Hibachi chicken with fried rice and vegetables. Make your mouth water!

I arrived around 2:00 and I was the only diner in the place. Staff was courteous(except girl at front desk… she wasn’t rude just not welcoming). I ordered the«Angry Dragon» it was delicious! I will definitely come back! Yummy!

Went here for dinner and had an okay experience. They seemed understaffed, we waited quite a while for someone to just take our drink order. I ended up getting the bento box with teriyaki chicken. The soup and salad were good, and so was the food in the bento box. During our meal, a few people left because they were seated and never spoken to again. Also, next time I’ll be sitting in a booth, the chairs at the table were terribly uncomfortable.

Things don’t necessarily taste bad but the name of the game is Skimpy. One piece of ginger with 3 maki. One piece of broccoli on the«vegetable hibachi» dinner. Two shrimp with the dinner bento box. Half portions of rice. You get the picture. Interestingly, I mentioned to the waiter that only piece of broccoli came with the entire vegetable hibachi meal and he said he would get me some more. He never did. :-/

Great value, the ahi poki was amazing with a great portion size. I also tried the spicy salmon roll which tasted fresh with lots of fish and minimal rice. Seaweed salad was also great.
