Having been there twice, one thing seems consistent. You’re going to be there a while. Service is slow and disorganized. Servers are friendly, but appear stretched with too many table. Food is good, not great and pricing is fair. There are plenty of other close options worth considering, especially if you don’t have much time.

Generally I don’t care for chain restaurants, but since I didn’t really grow up with 50s inspired diners I was actually really excited about this place. It was even cuter than I expected! The décor and music are very vintage/retro and I love it. Our server was very friendly as well. They even played doo wop and oldies(as some may refer to this genre of music). For what it is, it’s a pretty solid little burger joint. Their food isn’t too salty or greasy so that’s a plus. Their frozen custard is also very good. Good quality sit down«fast food» with a cute retro ambience that makes you feel like you’re in the movie Grease!

The burgers we ordered we fresh and delicious. The fries were crispy and hot. I would certainly return based on the food quality and prices. The staffing issues need to be worked on. There was a waitress committee meeting prior to any table being waited on which resulted in uncomfortable bickering. Our server was interrupted twice by coworkers while trying to take or order. Three other tables got there after us and we’re waited on first. There seemed to be no one in charge. With some direction during busy times and help making shakes and more complicated drinks the experience would be better for the customer.

It was our first visit here. Although the joint was packed, the service was great. The food was even better. Diner food with a bit of a twist. Definite 50s vibe. We loved it. I highly recommend the Jalapeño Jack, a great twist on a regular cheesesteak. Get the gravy fries as a side. Nuff Said!

The burger was extremely good. The ingredients all tasted fresh. The fries on the other hand were terrible. The only real flavor they had was that of old grease. Just skip them all together. We ordered chili cheese fries but they were out of chili so cheese fries are whar we got. The nasty nacho cheese sure didnt help the fries. If you want a great burger and shake then this is the place!

It definitely feels like a new restaurant. The burger was pretty good, but the fries were really bad. My husband had the onion rings and they were better. The service was alright. Our server was nice but a little overwhelmed. A server from a different section was was so overwhelmed that she was trying to bicker with the other staff, it was a little uncomfortable. I think the staff needs more training. And maybe a talk about not being dramatic and causing a scene in the dinning room. We might go back. If I really want a good burger and fries then I will go to macs grub shack. It is better and has more experienced servers.

Not a bad burger place, however my reviews are for the entire experience and that includes the lackluster service. I don’t mind character and I don’t expect consistency nor speed, if I did I’d go to mcdonalds. With that said the staff is undertrained and while they may improve its the managers job to train them. The attitude and the care that should be provided by a restaurant, even a chain /franchise restaurant like this one was sub par. It’s a new restaurant so it’s busy but they really need to work on their service skills, primarily getting a menu to the customer. Burgers were good but a bit on the greasy side. Fries I could have done without. I did not try the shakes but I heard good things. Only problem I found was the inadequately trained service staff. My dining experience is make or break on the service. A good waiter can bring up the score of an adequate meal, this staff is doing them no favors. Lots of grumbling and complaining from patrons. But, not once their bellies were full! If you’re looking for an alternative to the typical spring hill fare, give it a shot I fully understand this is a new restaurant and I certainly edit my reviews if they warrant an improvement.

Better off going to Burger King… Bun is saturated in grease and just to much crap. Staff not so nice, and could care less about the customer.

Spring Hill is busting at the seams with new restaurants from chains to one of a kinds, and now the new contender comes in to try and take the crown of best burger in town, will they succeed? First impressions are easy to make but they need to be the good, long lasting kinds that create consumer loyalty. If I were 85 years old with a touch of dementia, I’d feel right at home here. The pink and teal color scheme screams 1950s along with the numerous Elvis Presley photos. This may be the perfect shrine to The King but I was disappointed at the lack of poodle skirts. But I didn’t come here to gawk and look at the purdy decorations now did I? If you’ve read any of my other reviews then you’ll know I consider myself an unofficial burger/steak connoisseur and at this present time, the King of Spring Hill Beef remains Macs Grub Shack. But will they stand up to Hwy 55? I ordered a bit of everything with my old lady, Andy’s Double Cheese Burger, Chili Cheese Fries, Gravy Fries, Onion Rings and a strawberry shake to split. Sounds like a good meal right? Ok, let’s start with the vegetables, move on to the dairy and review to main course last. The fries were lackluster, tasted like two week old grease, stale and tasteless. No amount of ketchup could bring these guys back. Maybe they’re twice warmed up fries? The chili cheese fries were the same, stale potatoes with Hormel chili and nacho cheese, not a good combo so if you can, avoid at all cost. The onion rings were great, fresh battered and delicious. The milk shake was top notch, bits and pieces of fruit in each slurp of the straw, oh my! And now, the main event! The burger was monstrous and if I say monstrous then it’s gigantic. Word of advice, these Andy Burgers are huge, did I mention that yet? Creamy, tender and dripping with a heart stopping clot of heaven. If this was the only part I ate, then 5⁄5 stars but unfortunately the fries kept leaving this horrid after taste, what a let down. Final thoughts would be don’t order fries, change to onion rings. If you want the whole package of burgers and fries, head to Macs Grub Shack still the King of Spring Hill.

Great burgers, shrimp po boy & chicken sandwich, milk shakes are good but could be bigger but other than that the prices are reasonable
