Don’t do business with this gym. When I signed my contract I was informed that if I moved out of the area, I had to give 30 days notice to cancel the contract and provide proof of moving. Then when we signed up my husband in Feb, we informed the gym at the time of signing that we were definitely moving at the end of May 2015. All along it was no problem, just provide the notice and the proof and everything is all good. Fast forward to now, when they are trying to put me on the hook for a $ 100 cancellation fee despite the fact that I moved to Texas. They said they would cancel my husband’s fee but not mine, and I have been a member there for quite some time. So my advice is BEWARE. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General’s office in TN.
