Order a roast beef sandwich for my kid normally $ 8 they took 50 cents off so it was $ 7.50. About 4 pieces of beef (didn’t taste very good) on white bread with lettuce and tomato. RIP OFF. Split a sloppy joe with my wife… was very average… was something like $ 9.00 They had a sample of chips and dip… tried those… must have been yesterday’s left overs. Spent the evening in john getting sick… which I can’t recall having bad food in at least 20 years (indian restaurant in London)…pretty strong stomach… no question it was something from there. I debated being harsh in the review… but every word of this is true. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!! Sorry but probably the worst deli I have been to and very expensive for what it is.

Bad experiance.

I like this place. They are local and privately owned, and they are fairly involved with the local community. With that being said… I have only ordered the subs and porkroll, egg and cheese sandwiches. Both are very good. The subs are large, the meat fresh, the toppings are generous and tasty and the price is not too bad. The porkroll, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches are very good, albeit a bit inconsistent at times. Inconsistent in that I have had great sandwiches one day, then another it’s almost like biting into a salt-​lick (I order no salt on mine). But… the inconsistency is what I like about this place, there is no pre-​cut meat, no pre-​made sandwiches and everything you order is made for you, right then and there. Give this place a try.

Really great food at Sea Breeze. I grew up in Belmar — probably about two or three miles from this place, and I didn’t even know it existed until this past winter. Since my husband and I discovered it, we’ve eaten there probably 20 – 30 times. My only gripe is that there isn’t a ton of options for vegetarians like me: the veggie burger and the veggie wedge (grilled eggplant, tomatoes, spinach sometimes and lettuce others) are both GREAT, but sometimes I want more variety. I can’t really fault them for that though; I imagine only a very, very small percentage of their clientele is concerned about vegetarian options.
Husband’s favorite thing is the grilled italian sausage sandwich. He says «it’s the most… it’s awesome!»

For truly delectable subs, you’ve gotta check out the Seabreeze Deli. My family owns a house nearby, and in the summer, when I spend the most time in Spring Lake, I am a frequent patron. The sandwiches are loaded with meats and veggies; they most definitely do not skimp on the fillings. My personal favorites are the North Jersey (#15 — Prosciuttini, Capicola, Salami, Pepperoni, Provolone) and the Turkey and Roast Beef with Provolone (#13). The North Jersey in particular is absolutely phenomenal, as the variety of porcine products combine to create a really delicious sandwich.
While the prices are a bit steep and have risen noticeably over the past couple of years, keep in mind that the sandwiches are stuffed with fillings, so at least you are not going to get shortchanged there. I tried Jersey Mike’s once, and their sandwiches are filled so daintily, a la Subway, that the bread: filling ratio is skewed heavily in favor of the bread. Never again. The ingredients here are fresh, and I’ve never come away disappointed with my sandwich.
If you’re going to the beach, my advice to you is to pick up a sandwich from here, bring a bottle of water, pack them in a cooler, and leave it up on the boardwalk until you’re ready to eat. And just like that, you’ve got yourself a killer lunch that will draw envious looks from everyone around you.

The Sea Breeze Deli rocks! Great sandwiches, burgers, etc. Quick service at very reasonable prices, the Sea Breeze is only a minute away from the beach.
