Village On The Lake

I really don’t know what to say about this complex, I moved into phase 2 apartments in 2014. At first everything seemed ok until the first mini snow storm, that’s when my ceiling started leaking. They hired some people to «fix» it, shortly after we had some rain and the leaking started all over. They «fixed» it again, by the second mini snow storm same thing happened, they hired another set of people who actually fixed it. Fast forward to summer 2015 and guess what, my boiler room started leaking into the sunroom/​living room. Leaving the carpet soaked in water, they came and replace the padding under the carpet and that was it. There is mildue/​mold right under A/​C vent and a very funky smell, I can’t even run the A/​C and opening the windows hasn’t help. And, I have a baby that have to breathe in that funk. I know of 3 families that had to vacate their apartment over the summer due to mold. I would not recommend anyone to live here. Other than that, the complex is very quiet, they keep around the complex clean. However, there is a new Maintenance guy that seems to be very lazy, if he comes to your apartment to fix anything, and tell you he will be back to finish it up. Do not hold your breath on it.
