Above & Beyond Carpet Care is a small «Mom & Pop» business. Michele is Dave’s wife and runs the office. Her experience in customer service & administration began in the early 80’s. With the combined efforts of Dave & Michele, A&BCC provides the best cleaning service in San Diego by delivering exceptional industry knowledge & quality of service. Dave began his education and certification with the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning Certification) in 1992. To date has earned the highest level of certification as Master Textile Cleaner being certified in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, carpet repairs, odor control, flood restoration and mold remediation. Above & Beyond has been using top of the line truck mounted steam cleaning equipment since 1994. The carpet manufacturers now state in the warranty that you must have your carpets cleaned by an IICRC Certified Firm every 12 – 24 months. We recently purchased new stain master carpet and then had a printer ink issue. i thought for sure my carpet was ruined. i called the company 3 days later and experienced the best customer service. The employee that came was able to completely remove the stain as if it was never there. He also gave me tips on how to remove stains in the future, carpet care and provided me with a bottle of cleaner. Definitely will use again. Highly recommend this company

We are extremely pleased with the service here. They picked up the rugs, did a FANTASTIC job cleaning them, and dropped them off. The owner dropped them off and is one of the nicest, most personable people I have met. He chatted with me about my car before even realizing he was dropping my stuff off. They seem like an old fashioned, high quality of service, reputation based company.

Something for customers to think about! A number of years ago, my organization brought in a carpet cleaning company of which we found out that often these companies employ felons. Our employees complained about missing property after the cleaners left. So I checked my security videos and low and behold a worker was seen stealing specialized pagers. The Sheriff and I texted him on the pager saying that he was observed stealing. I think the guy about dropped a load in his pants and left a large paper bag of items he took at our back door! This not anything that would need to be concerned with with David. A quality godly man!

We moved into a new (new to us) six year old home. Supposedly the carpets were cleaned two days before we moved in…(not sure who did that job?!?) The master bedroom carpet had drip drip drip-​like dark stains that we were sure were something we better get used to seeing, as well as other random stains. The family room had some dark stained areas in the main travel path as well as new fresh dog-​pee stains from my dog :-(Dave explained in detail about pet-​mess stains and how to clean them well (there is a video on their website about that as well). He gave us a few options on how we wanted him to treat them and I liked that we had the final decision based on both his recommendations and the cost. So a few hours later, the carpets look amazing and brand new. I was honestly astonished that he got the stains out of the master bedroom carpet; it had looked like someone had changed the oil in there (and after that description, you are probably wondering why we didn’t put in new carpet before moving in.). My husband had talked about the price with Dave at the beginning so I didn’t know what to expect when we paid at the end. When he gave us the total, I admit I was expecting it to be much more for the quality of work. It wasn’t much more than when I’d had larger areas done by another company in our old home, and those past jobs didn’t come close to getting this type of thorough result. I keep going back to the rooms to check the carpets and make sure I hadn’t imagined it, it still looks incredible!

Wow, what a great job Dave did on my carpet!
For starters he spent a ton of time prepping the area, placing guards on every corner so his hoses wouldn’t mark up the walls or furniture, really professional. One of the rooms had about 10 spots that had been spot cleaned (cleaned and left a very visible spot) that I assumed were beyond cleaning. Dave worked his magic and the spots are GONE.
The entire job was exceptional, I can’t recommend then highly enough, both the work and the professionalism were absolutely top notch!

My carpet looks new again! I was about ready to rip out my gross 9-​year-​old carpet, but hired Above & Beyond and my carpet looks amazing. I rarely Unilocal except with great companies and this is one of them. I called 2 days before all my rugs and furniture was being packed in a shipping container. 3 kids under 8 had really dirtied our white furniture and light rugs. We frankly were planning on tossing 3 of the white furniture pieces because they looked beyond cleaning.
ABOVE AND BEYOND somehow rearranged their schedule and squeezed us in immediately. Right on time, Dave looked at our job, quoted a very fair price and held to that price even though he had to stay late to do a PERFECT JOB!
He originally was reluctant and couldn’t guarantee the white chairs would come clean. Well he UNDERPROMISED AND OVERDELIVERED.
I would use ABOVE AND BEYOND CARPET CARE every time. Fair price, great service, great job!

Two of my favorite days of the year are when Dave comes to clean my carpet. I have. 10-​year old wall-​to-​wall plush-​pile carpet, light beige, and when Dave finishes, it looks brand new. Before meeting Dave a few years ago, I was about to replace the carpet. Not now… No need!

We had this company clean our condo Bereber carpeting and two upholstered chairs. I“ve had another company before and it seemed they left a residue tht just attracted dirt down the line-​and some spots just showed up again after a month or so. This company is GREAT! I honestly would been happy with 80% improvement and they got over 95%. Dave was a neat, courteous, knowledgeable pro. He carefully analyzed the spots/​stains and worked each one in measured, thorough steps. At the last minute i sprung an extra request to do a chair that had some difficult, buttoning/​tufts which could have presented a problem with «even cleaning»…wonderful job. We had some kind of grease that was spinning off a ball bearing (we guess) and the cleaning solution that ABCC used took care of it– We recommend also buying the cleaning solution they sell (no soap like most cleaners) — I used it on a rust stain in a closet we didn’t have ABCC clean and it took care of it nicely. just follow their directions. They provide good printed care info to keep in your files. Also they were neat, clean effecient with all the hoses etc. We’re in a condo and ABCC used «bumpers» on the corners of the outside walls so as not to damage anything… my entry plants were not injured. We highly recommend this company. They’re a little more expensive than some othrs but this company regards this as a «professional business» and it shows on every level. Use with confidence!

Its that time again! The family is coming for Christmas and I need to get the carpets cleaned. As tempting as it is with all of the «groupon» type deals right now ($ 87 for 5 rooms, etc.) I look at the fine print on the other businesses and realize that if I «live south of the 56 freeway» it is an extra charge, if the room is over 200 sq. feet is another extra charge, if there are stains it is an extra $ 25 to pre-​treat them.
WOW! I dont pay anything other than what I am quoted with Above and Beyond for them to show up on time, come in very politely and clean my carpet to a high standard. I am looking forward to calling right now and booking my appointment.

Every few months my wife and I get our carpets cleaned. Above & Beyond lives up to their name. The quality of service is top notch! The prices are extremely competitive.
