History

Established in 1983.

The short history is «I fell into a hole and came out a sign painter.»

It has been a long road with many people helping early along the way and a great many very good customers that are more like friends, some have been repeat customers for up to 20 years. Doing my best to increase the success of my clients businesses is what drives me and makes Frank Yetman Signs a success.

Business Owner

I left college to work at a factory job and after a few years I decided to go into business for myself. I printed cards that read «Hard Working Skilled Labor», Little did I know that this translated to «shovel for hire». I was always OK with honest hard work so I kept at it.

One day an friend wanted my help on a project, a sign project. We met a business owner and after him walking us around a building the size of half a city block, my friend quit. I was left to also quit or find my way through with a few stencils and the name of a store where I could buy brushes. Did I quit the sign bizz? Not yet, man.

I love to freedive and spearfish when I can, not enough these days but still enough to qualify as a waterman.
