What we do professionally, we are privileged to teach to aspiring artists of all ages through individual instruction at our working studio.

History

Established in 1999.

Although Imagine U Studio was officially started in 1999, Hugo has been a free-​lance artist since his college days, providing logo and ad design. Back then, Imagine U Studio provided professional design of logos, online user interfaces, training interfaces and programming, websites and video. We have added to our abilities to produce video for multiple outlets, special effects, photography, and top quality printing.

With Hugo’s fine art talent and training, teaching was a natural progression. After watching school after school minimize their art programs, and receiving many requests for workshops and training, Imagine U Studio started teaching fine art to ages 6 and up in 2003.

When Hugo was very young, we was shown a documentary on Walt Disney and saw artists creating and getting paid to do it. Art was already something he loved, but it was then that he realized he could make it his life’s work. And so he did…

Imagine U Studio is the culmination of Hugo’s vision of a perfect job/​life that he had at 8 years old. He practiced art always, took every class he could, was blessed with teachers that not only taught him but pushed him to be better, and went about life taking each step towards his goal. Along the way, he has won awards and spread his creative wings in many different mediums.

By day, you’ll find him designing, filming, researching, creating digital media, and painting commissions. In the afternoon, young artists come for instruction, fun, and some of Hugo’s big laughs.
