The drive through is horrible for big cars or a manual! And it only has 3 parking places and very little seating inside. I would take the order to go. As far as the food… it’s pretty good. They even got my complicated order right.

This is the best taco shop ever with my favorite chicken tacos in red sauce. We don’t even live here in spring Valley but so worth the drive! My kids love the roll tacos and my husband always gets the chicken burrito in red sauce. They are never shystee with toppings we always scoop the extra on the plate. Lots of cheese for sure. I would recommend eating inside because the drive thru usually takes a long time

The food I had was excellent. Beans and rice both had good flavor. Carne asada I had was not fatty. Great taste also. The red sauce was not watered down and had some kick! Portions where perfect. I like to eat and was full. Going to go more often.

Love this place. You know you found a good taco shop or just a good restaurant when they can make something so simple so comforting and far every thing I’ve had here has been great. I love the fish tacos and the rolled tacos with guacamole, lettuce, cheese, and pico. But one of my favorites to get on a cold day is they’re bean and cheese burritos. So simple but so good. I especially love the red hot sauce because it’s actually hot. I think they’re open 24 hours! Yay!

If I could give a negative 10 I would. This place served us meat that was so disgusting and smelled like death. It is super close to my house so I thought I would order a bean and cheese burrito and a quesadilla with sour cream and guacamole. Simple right? 25 minutes later my order was wrong and there were large pieces of fat in the bean burrito and the quesadilla was gross

OMG they have the best Bacon Breakfast Burrito. It has eggs, bacon bits, french fries, and cheese. Its huge and filling. You will not need to eat until dinner. The Tacos de Papa(potato tacos) are delish. I wish they had rolled tacos de papa. Weve tried several other items here and all were great. Only down side… Ive ate here for dinner and its a different cook. My family all ordered bean and cheese burritos. We normally scarf them down but not one person finished it. The beans where cold and tasted different than during the day. They are open 24 hours and probably the only taco shop open in this area with these hours.

I wish they could make some different items. The guy was nice, but told me they make beef rolled tacos. Ugh, not everyone can eat beef. Some places can do chicken or potato. I been coming here a while. The line gets long but the food is good. The wait this night was no more than 5 mins. My fish taco was big and tasty. People were outside waiting as well. They are open 24⁄7 I believe so that’s great. Thier prices have gone up, not sure how compared to others yet. I like it here because it’s convenient.

It’s all about the Texano burrito son! No seriously, everything else here is just tolerable but the Texano warrants a five-star rating, no contest. So what is it? Chicken and french fries in a spicy red sauce, with cheese and sour cream oozing out of a delicious flour tortilla. Pure. Heaven. If you are going to attempt to eat an entire burrito, I suggest you come on an empty stomach because they aren’t stingy with the filling. Have an horchata on standby because these babies are as spicy as they are hefty! I wish the picture did this culinary masterpiece justice. You’re just going to have to try one and thank me later.

I’m only giving a 4 but i have a good reason. I live right down street from here so we go pretty often. I’m a carne asada burrito girl. Normally they are good. But, sadly, occasionally they are gross. The way i see it is…5 stars is for consistency, too. When it’s good… it’s awesome. But, when it’s bad… i want to cry.

Amazing carne asada burritos and fries! This is my husband’s favorite burrito place and we go here every time we’re in SD. They’re huge portions for a great deal, and open late!

Came here for the first time because it was midnight and everywhere else was closed. They have a convenient drive thru and quick service. It’s hard to find drive through taco shops. The rolled tacos were the best I’ve ever had!

Just had one of the best California burritos ever. The camerones ala diabla was meh, but Cali burrito was fire. Neighborhood is super ghetto so I fit right in. My new favorite hole in the wall.

A fat girls dream come true!!! Sure, this place is deep in the bowels of spring valley, but the food is pretty good especially after a beer pong marathon. This place has a convenient drive thru AND you can use your card to pay for your deep fried food covered in guacamole and cheese. Not only yes, but hell yes!

Slowest taco shop I’ve ever been to! Damn a drive thru is suppose to be speedy! I could of sat my ass at busiest restaurant downtown served by a 97 year old grandmother and gotten faster service! Update: food was great so I’ll give them props for that

I really hate giving Loreto’s only one star. This is only based on my experience yesterday 08/01/2014. I grew up in Spring Valley and have been going there since 1984. Well about 8 months ago we moved to Rancho and fell in love with Alberts Taco shop. So needless to say, there was no need to travel the extra 5 miles or so to Loreto’s So yesterday I go to visit my dad, who still lives in SV and stop by Loreto’s to grab a bean and cheese burrito and three rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese. I was shocked when my total was almost $ 8.00. Call me cheap but 8 months prior that same order was about $ 5. So I don’t mind the increase but give me what I pay for. I get the food home, let it sit for a few, u know so the cheese has a chance to melt, and cut the burrito in half(less chance of a blowout at the bottom). So when I cut into it, no melted cheese, and I see what apparently was beans but looked more like butternut squash soup! I take the wrapper off the rolled tacos and find the same consistency with the guacamole. Just a mushy mess. No chucks of avocado, tomato, or onion u know the basics in «Mexican» guacamole. The beans had no flavor and there was hardly any meat in the rolled tacos. I guess I’m just spoiled by Alberts«Big Rolled Tacos». Again, I hate giving them a bad review but believe me when I tell you Loreto’s was the best Taco Shop in East County. They still can be but not with the garbage they served me yesterday. I hope they go back to their roots, keep it simple and start serving a better product. I won’t go back until then.

I used to come here when I felt too lazy to get outta my car. Which is probaly why I always get screwed. The burritos are mostly tortilla and filled with everything else except meat. And the meat that’s in there is old and probably fried a couple of times over. Maybe the rolled tacos would be different… nope…also hardly filled with any meat which comes out with one bite leaving you with a fried tortilla straw… which is useful for sucking up my watered down Horchata… I remembered this place being decent but last few visits were very disappointing… Not coming back… Bottomline: Fried tortilla straws with guacomole and cheese!!!

This place was actually delicious. It was in a sketchy area and the building itself was extremely dilapidated but the food was good. I dont want to give it 5 stars because im insanely picky when it comes to Mexican food but also because im 90% positive I wouldnt go out of my way to go back here. Not for any other reason but for its location and dirty atomosphere. I got a quesadilla that had beans in it, weird but added to the overall good flavor. If you’re around here, do go.

Okay I’ll just say this… I love their polla asada burrito! It’s freaking amazing!!! Oh why the 2 star then? Well I swear I have a cast iron stomach but… Every time I eat it I get«stomach issues.» Yes yes thanks for sharing i know, sorry. But the burrito is sooo good I’ve tried at least 3x… And now I’m sure, abd now no matter how good, I just can’t do it again. Happy eating hopefully!
