Nail Express

Calm atmosphere and the ladies are nice, this is why I’m giving 3 stars. However, the paint job on my nails was all over my skin, some of the hang nails were uncomfortable when removed and the polish bubbled. Not much of a selection in nail colors and the polishes look old– no name brands. I’ve had way better pedicures.

This is a really cute little nail and eyebrow salon. The people are nice too, and they have a little girl that is just adorable.
We went in for my friend’s bday. They got their eyebrows done, which looked fantastic! They also got gel mani/pedi’s (not the deluxe ones in the massage chairs, but that looks fun too!). I got a color change, and I had bruised one of my nails when I hit it in my car door a month ago, so I wanted to get it filed down. She did a fantastic job filing off the dead nail part, and then did a great paint job. My friend’s nails also looked good! It was cheap and fast, just the way I like it! A color change was only $ 5, but I gave a tip for the filing.
The inside has massage pedi chairs and a couple of desks for manis. There are some back rooms for eyebrows and waxes, and the bathroom is so clean and fresh! The rest of the interior is just nice and calming. I’ll definitely be back with my friends in the future!

The worst nail salon I have ever been to in 20 years!!! I came and they did my manicure in 10 mins and my mom went and she got a pedicure in 20 mins. I called to speak to the owner and she hung up on me when I asked for the store manager. they did the worst job! And I called to have them perform the service I paid for and they refused! Worst customer service ever!!! Very u professional!!!

Kim is friendly, but the guy. Because I had to make sure they got it right how I wanted my nails. The guy started talking in Vietnamese which I knew they were talking sh** & my nails didn’t look good at all

I had a set of acrylic that I wanted to remove and just wanted to get my eyebrows done. The guy was removing them by using a cuticle remover and forcing them off with a acrylic nail he got out of the drawer! So unsafe. I was afraid he would tear my actual nails off. I then just got a mani. It was poorly done and it wasn’t even completely dry. I managed to mess up my right hand. The place was so short staffed that everyone was just jumping from one guest to the next. It was finally my turn for an eyebrow wax and it was awful! My eyebrows look as if they weren’t even waxed. So many hairs I can still see. I feel bad since the owner had her daughter there. She is so cute yet she has no business running around barefoot and in a nail salon, for it just isn’t sanitary.
I suggest you go somewhere else!

Went in to get an acrylic nail set put on and I’m not very impressed or satisfied.
I wanted the white powder for the French tip, which the lady did over the white nail tip she applied but it didn’t cover the white nail tip so it looks uneven.
I paid $ 5 for a gel on top and one of my thumbs was all dull looking when I walked outside.
I got my nails done Wed and today is Sat, and they’re already starting to lift.
The place didn’t look very nice inside either. One of the nail technicians was painting her own toes and it just didn’t seem like a very welcoming and professional place.

Always professional and sweet. Great attention to detail and just a wonderful experience along with excellent work. My nails and feet never looked better. I’m here every other week.

While on a quick weekend getaway to San Diego, I didn’t have a lot of time to get my nails done before a dinner party, but luckily I tried this salon.
Loved the owner– she was so pleasant and nearly made me catatonic while she massaged my hands and arms for ten minutes (so rare). My gel manicure and regular pedicure were immaculate, elegant, and classic.
So lovely to have found this place in a time crunch.
I was in and out in a little under an hour, felt rejuvenated, and couldn’t have been happier with the results.

Worst set of my life! Visiting San Diego from LA. I have encountered so many nail shops and this is the WORST!. I asked for powder and this is what I got! I wanted a nice ombré look and instead I got this ugly gold tip that is horribly ugly. Crazy!!! … Might as well cross the border and have gotten my nails done on Tijuana! … I’m a nail
Girl and seriously this was a slap on the face!

I have been visiting Kim for years now. I have since moved away from Spring Valley, and pass numerous nail places on my drive to her salon, but I refuse to go anywhere else! Kim does REAL gel fill nails, and keeps her prices so low. The service, quality of work, and the prices keeps me coming back loyally for years… I LOVE this place, and without hesitation I highly recommend Nail Express! Nail Express did move to Campo Rd

I have been going to this nail salon for a long time and love it! I have been to many others and have never had such good service. It’s very clean which is of the utmost importance.

The Vietnamese sisters who run this place charge $ 26 for a combined Mani/​Pedi. They are really good at what they do and are super friendly too. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!
