I’ve had a couple questionable experiences with this place the last one blew me away, absolutely terrible, so this is what happened I call the day before ask about a particular radiator he said yeah I’ll have one ready tomorrow morning call me in the morning, I said just plan on me being there but I called just in case before I went. I got there the radiator was ready as promised but hold on its spray-painted black and only the top. Tank is replaced I look it over there’s a crack in the bottom tank it’s visible through the black paint I scrape The paint off I can Catch my finger nail on it ! Ken(the owner) says no no it’s been pressure tested he says there’s nothing wrong with it, there’s no crack I show him, he hands me my money back and ask for the receipt and is very rude, he also says i’m not worried about it, I sell them all day like that! Probably been doing it long enough to know by looking at a crack whether it’s going to make it past his warranty. Be warned !!! I will never go back!

My husband typically does his own auto repair work, and when something is above his head, he goes to a knowledgable friend with a 12 pack of beer and something to throw on the grill. Radiators are certainly within his capacity but they aren’t his favorite thing to do. My husband’ struck needed a new radiator, but he’s been busy this week with job interviews, and it’s late-July in Houston(too freakin’ hot!). After calling O’Reillys to price the part, I contacted this shop to see what they’d charge for a radiator and install as an alternative option. To my surprise, this shop offered a rebuilt radiator INSTALLED for the same price we would have paid at O’Reillys for the radiator and coolant. The choice was a no-brainer and they called to tell us it was ready in about an hour and a half. My husband says he’ll never repair a radiator again, and this is a job he’ll delegate to these fine folks every time. Note: Per my husband, the price of radiators varies wildly depending on the vehicle. I’m guessing you’ll have the same luck as me when comparing the price to the auto parts store, but don’t hold my review against these guys in the event your quote differs. I have no doubt they price their parts and service honestly and competitively based on their overhead. For reference, we took in a 2001 Ford Ranger: ~O’Reillys quoted $ 165 plus we’d have to buy coolant. ~This shop quoted $ 75 for a rebuilt or $ 75 to recore the one on the truck, or $ 185 for a rebuilt installed.

Friendly, honest, knowledgable service. I was able to call them on the phone and they knew all about my truck and radiator. I brought my cracked radiator in to them and exchanged it for a newer one for a reasonable price. The two older gentlemen who were at the shop are from a time when you could sit, visit and learn all about how to fix/repair your vehicle and the why’s and wherefores of their worldly experience. Family photos depicting a lifetime of memories adorn the walls of the office along with a variety of South West art and military memorabilia. The exterior office is set up like an old front porch, complete with benches and a few potted flower plants. If I ever need radiator work done again, I’ll definitely give these guys a call first.
