I have been going to Amine and his son Kevin for more than 18 years so I can give you a true review. Being in sales I have to be trendy yet professional. Amine and His son Kevin are both highly trained and experienced professionals who know more about hair than any other hair salon around. I can sit in their chair and say, «make me look good,» and they know exactly what to do. As for the other review about no consultation, I would start speaking to them about what you want as soon as you sit in the chair. Don’t wait to be asked. They have always listened to me about how I wanted my hair cut and I have always gotten several compliments from my co– workers and customers after getting services from here. My picky mom has also been a customer here for over 20 years. Amine and Kevin are the best!

Had a cut and full highlights with ombré look done by Kevin and I love it. He and his dad opened the salon 15 years ago and he really knew what he was doing. The whole atmosphere of the salon was nice. Everyone was so nice and funny. The prices are very reasonable, too. I will absolutely be coming back.

I was looking for a salon with a more personal approach. where you don’t feel like you are rushed though and 5 or so different stylists get a «turn» at your hair. I hate that. you know the Visible Changes thing. I was told about this place by a friend and tried it. I was a stylist years ago so I’m VERY particular. This place is owned by an older man and his son, they rent space to other stylists. I had the owner.
There was ZERO consultation. I should have just left then. I wanted a change from light to dark, but keep it bright and fashionable… and my color turned out flat and very mousy. When you put pigment back into lightened hair you need more red tones as a base to prevent this green/​dull/​mousy look. This is taught early on in hair-​school. I could have got the same color from a box at Walmart.
The cut was good although I said to cut a VERY small amount off, and turned into about 3 inches. Granted I have very long hair but when is 3 inches a very small amount??? My color looked ok in the light of the salon.
The salon is stuck in the 90s with the décor, was not dirty, but very ugly and dated. Don’t plan on returning. I will continue my search for the perfect salon.

I heard about JJ from a coworker at work. New to the area, desperate for a haircut, I made an appointment with JJ. What a disaster: unprofessional, immature I don’t know how this guy is able to get any business. He asks customers to use his cell phone to reach him, but then is apparently unable to respond to texts or phone calls. My work schedule isn’t set in stone, so due to a change I had to call JJ to reschedule. He never called me back, so when it turned out I could still keep my original appointment I tried to reach JJ again to ask if he was still available. Still no answer. I drove to the salon the day of the appointment for fear the miscommunication was somehow my fault (maybe i had the wrong number?) and I’d be the no-​show jerk. The salon was a mess; I had to wait until the receptionist finished her lengthy phone conversation to even be greeted. I explained the situation to her and it turned out JJ was not in. Wondering why I kept wasting my time on this «JJ», I left. I sent one last text to JJ, suggesting in the future he might want to respond to customers. Finally discovering his phone, he sent me a nasty text calling me a b**ch.
I’m grateful I never made it to the haircutting part. I think i might have dodged a bullet. Terrible Terrible TERRIBLE service. Immature, disrespectful to women, and above all else UNPROFESSIONAL. This guy is the worst, take your precious locks and time elsewhere.
