Very good Thai food. Love the crab fried rice and spicy basil fried rice. It is really spicy. Alway order to go and my meal is hot and ready and always right when I get home. Veggie pad thai and yellow curry is good as well.

This place is phenomenal. We haven’t had Thai like his singer left DC. The lemongrass soup was great and the chicken panang was amazing!!! We will be eating here again and again!

The food was good but the service… we walked in the door and the waitress waiting behind the counter seemed irritated by having to greet and seat us. We came in for a late lunch at 3 pm and the restaurant was empty. All through the entire visit she seemed very aloof. Even my friend commented likewise when we left. No issue with the food, but the service was wanting. Our drinks were filled and check was served, but still just felt like everything bothered her. Guess we will stick to the Jones road location as the service there is much better.

I used to love Anothai but this last year has been really hit and miss. Today I had the pad kii Mao and it was too salty and not the flavor or bite it should be. I couldn’t finish it. You generally can’t go wrong with the curries, and sometimes the pad Thai is good, but otherwise this place is not like it used to be :-(

Bad service and bad food. Had their Thai chicken wrap. Did not eat much of it. Would not be going back.

I absolutely love anothai! The interior set up is all red and is very pretty along with roses on each table! The food can be a little pricey but the portions are very generous and the staff is very friendly! I dont think I could eat one serving by myself because they have so much food. The tables are set so that you can draw on them which was good because I came with my younger brother who got bored waiting for the food. My favorite menu is definitely pad thai and their orange chicken! This time I got something different and got pad see ew. It was Very savory and crunchy and the pad see noodles have so much flavor in them. I always get mine a little spicy and the peanut sauce in the orange chicken and the pad see sauce complimented each other really well. They also had vegetables in each dish which was very refreshing since the meal may have been a little greasy without it. Definitely recommend this place!!!

Food was very good though I miss the fresh seafood from living on an island. Good spice, not too hot or mild. Green curry, fresh spring rolls, pineapple curry and Tom Yum soup were all very good. Clean dining area and not to crowded on a Sunday evening. Prices were pretty good as well. Staff was friendly though not super attentive. We will come back.

Terrible yet again. This is the other Thai restaurant I tried. I ordered a Thai tea and was told after I paid they were out. How are you out!!! I got Tum Kha Gai, usually a good way to test a Thai restaurant and their ability to develop flavors. Here they failed miserably. As I said in my other post, this is a Thai restaurant that is pandering to Americans. They just assume we are dumb and don’t know out flavors. They load it with crap and make it an American Chinese food hybrid, which physically makes me ill. Stay away, go downtown and get real Thai food.

I got a to-go order for my mom and I. It was very good. She got shrimp and I got chicken. It was good, I just moved here from Seattle and love pad Thai and this was a pretty good place. The prices are reasonable. The place is very clean and nice. They gave us water while we waited. It was nice. Good experience over all. :)

Come here all the time when I’m craving Thai food on the a North side of Houston. The prices are reasonable, it’s owned by a family and tastes authentic. Not my favorite Thai place but good for close to home. When I come here with my family we normally eat«family style». This is where we order four — five dishes and just share. You can choose type of meat for each dish and spice levels as well(1 – 5,5 being spiciest). Always get the green curry with chicken and the crab basil fried rice. Other dishes we get vary — chicken pad Thai is my brother favorite and the papaya salad is good too.

We stopped here in a whim because the place we were going to originally wasn’t open. Glad we did. It’s not the most ornate place I ever saw, but it’s not like the paint and décor ever had an impact in the taste of the food. We started with some chicken satay, which was excellent. Great char on the meat, but still juicy and tender. Peanut am sauce is great. Main courses were chicken fried rice, chicken with peanut sauce and broccoli, and a shrimp Pad Thai. Across the board the food was excellent. Shrimp wasn’t overcooked, which is easy to do. Fried rice was really good. My wife commented that she didn’t even need soy sauce for it(which says a lot for the flavor of the rice). We’ll definitely come back.

Pros: The food is decent. There are plenty of great Thai food joints in Houston. But, for Willowbrook area, this place would get 4 stars. I had their Seafood Paradise, where as my friends had the Yellow and Red Curry. All seemed to think that the food was good, nothing extraordinary. Cons: The service is terrible. It takes forever to get the order in, to get the order on the table, but surprisingly it took forever for the checks to come back. I went from work, during my lunch break and I literally spent 15 minutes waiting for the check. Note: If you are on a tight schedule, definitely not the place to go to.

This place is GREAT. The food here is my favorite in Spring. Try the Pad Kra Pow. This is currently my favorite — I get it with chicken and ask for the medium level of spicy. They let you choose the level of heat. You can choose from regular, medium, hot, or Thai spicy. I love spicy food so this place is perfect for me. I go here at least once a week. Their food is delicious.

The pineapple fried rice is AMAZING!!! Seriously, you MUST get it. I’ve also had the chicken pad Thai, but it’s better the second day after you pour all of the chili sauce on it and refrigerate overnight(or maybe that’s just me; I like the extra flavor/spice). My husband loves the pas see ew and won’t order anything else :) A good neighborhood spot, but you’ll find tastier spots in the city’s ethnic neighborhoods. The only downside is the service. Don’t come if you’re in a hurry! It’s typically 1 – 2 people in the front of the house, and usually one is tied up with all of the takeout orders. They’re nice, just not speedy.

This is a small, family owned business so come in with that expectation for service and you’ll be right at home. We ordered Sweet and Sour chicken which was great. Lots of vegetables and sauce with the meat, which wasn’t too greasy considering it is deep fried. We also had yellow Thai curry which was really tasty. Not too spicy but a little bit of a bite. Definitely enjoyable and the chicken was well cooked. Last we ordered the Pad Kee Mao which was also really good. Really flavorful and again served with quite a lot of veggies. Overall the portions were big, the food was tasty, the restaurant was quiet and peaceful and we’ll be coming back. Sure it might not look like much from the outside, but the steady stream of take out orders tells me the locals know a good place.

I like eating Thai food, and this is one of the great Thai restaurants I have had food from. They’re not so authentic when I hear from others and my family, but I like eating their food. The fish patties and pad thai are my favorite selections. Pad see-ew is also great. There’s a dish with eggplants that I really enjoyed the last time I visited. Most of the time I order to go because I rather eat at home, but the interior of this restaurant is pretty fancy! I’ll eat there again with my family. It’ s a good place for kids to eat at because they offer a paper top where the kids can color with crayons. I admit I’m a kid too because I colored and made drawings with them! The waiter there does speak Thai and they did a great job servicing our needs. Food is delicious as a I stated above. Price is average for Thai food.

I am always looking for a good Thai place on my side of town and I was really pleased with this restaurant. I usually get Thai tea, but I was intrigued by the ginger tea and decided to give it a try. It was very refreshing and seemed to also cleanse the palate and cut down on the heat between spicy bites of food. We started with the spring rolls. They were stuffed with chicken, shrimp, and loads of fresh veggies. I loved the spicy dipping sauce that came with them. Next came the Tom Kha Ga which was rich and delicious with just the right amount of heat. We finished with the Thai Cashew Chicken. I wasn’t expecting the chicken to be flash fried, but it worked very well in this dish. You can choose your level of spiciness so we went with between medium and spicy and it was perfect. The bell peppers, onions, and carrots that came with the dish had great flavor. It was a really fresh and light dish even though the chicken was fried. I can’t wait to go back and give the rest of the menu a try.
