I would highly recommend NOT going to this office. I can’t say too much about the psychiatrist herself since I never saw her after waiting in a small, cold room for almost 30 minutes with my very hyperactive, loud, uncontrollable 5-​year-​old. The room looked like it was decorated entirely with items found along the side of the street on trash day. There was a peeling, broken desk, a couple of peeling leather chairs and a gaudy lamp. It was depressing. There were no toys or books for kids, and since she was recommended by our pediatrician I assume she sees kids in her practice. I went to the office because I was at the end of my rope trying to figure out what is going on with my son and how to best handle him. I went to the wrong place. The front office person came in and told me that the doctor said I «really need to keep my child quiet». Hello?! The entire reason we were there was because he is hyperactive and has behavior problems. MAYBE if we hadn’t had to wait so long past our appointment time, or MAYBE if they had had an age-​appropriate environment with toys, books or puzzles, and MAYBE if the «doctor» had any professionalism at all, we could have gotten the help we needed. Instead, I left in tears, frustrated and feeling completely alone. If this is what you look for in a psychiatrist, this is the doc for you.
