Brickhouse Bridal is beautiful. Their showroom is huge and impressive. Jessica was super helpful and found me the perfect dress quickly! She was in tune with my body shape and what would look good on me. Awesome experience!

My visit to Brickhouse could not have been better.
Scheduling an appointment via email was incredibly easy, and the staff responded quickly to all of my questions. The drive was a bit of a trek from Houston, but I’m so glad I went. We were greeted with smiling faces, and it only got better from there.
My consultant was Jennifer, and it was immediately evident that she knows the ins and outs of finding the right dress. I had researched and noted a few dresses I wanted to try, so I got to skip the «clipping» portion of the appointment and jump straight into trying dresses. With each dress, Jennifer asked a few pointed questions to help narrow my selection (above and beyond «how do you like this one?»), and the answers to those questions ultimately helped me to realize that the first dress I tried was «the one.»
The store does get pretty crowded on Saturdays, so take that into account if you’re looking for a little more space/​quiet.
Through my research, I knew that the dress I selected was available at another shop for a somewhat lower price (about a $ 300 difference), but because Brickhouse offers a 10% discount if you purchase your dress at your first appointment, I ended up getting the best deal there. If you’re shopping around, just keep the discount in mind — it really helps. I bought my veil at Brickhouse the same day for this reason, as well.
Thanks so much to Jennifer and the rest of the staff for making my experience a great one. I’m so excited to see the dress once it comes in!

My dress, literally was stitched crooked on the back of butt shown in picture. At the bottom of blush dress some blue fabric was sewn in and the dress started to shred. I pointed this out to the ladies and the only response I got was take it to an alterations because they don’t alter at there location. Unfortunately, if I didn’t have this wedding coming up next week I would have told them to keep it and refund my money.
Just want everyone to be aware, this place is gorgeous, but unfortunately if you’re spending good money you expect the product to be top notch.
The risk is yours, after this experience I will never return I have 3 more friends getting married and I warned them about this place and after they saw the work I had to invest in, they refuse to go to this place as well.

Had a great buying experience at brickhouse bridal– bought the first dress I tried on!
Just a warning– be sure to ask for ten percent off if you are purchasing on day one. I did not know about this but my four friends I sent to BH got ten percent off their dresses. When I called to ask about my ten percent off they did honor it, thankfully.

I could have not been happier with this place. I booked my appointment on a Saturday and shared a stage. It was perfect! It ended up working out so well.
They had so many options for all styles and shapes. Three of us said yes to the dress while I was there and each one of us had very different body shapes and styles. All the dresses were beautiful, priced well and had an amazing selection.
I never felt pressured to buy or felt like they were shoving dresses down my throat. Casey was my consultant and did a fantastic job!
I did buy my dream dress from here and could not be happier with the process! It was fantastic and me, my mom, future MIL and future SIL had a very intimate and special time.

This was probably my favorite store out of the 6 or 7 I visited. I never went with an entourage, but the décor here provides for that experience. The store is pretty and most of the try-​on areas are separated from each other so you have a more personal experience.
I booked a Saturday appointment and make the trek from Houston. Their service is great. I NEVER felt pressured to buy a dress. They have a nice selection and many different styles. Definitely check this place out if you are hunting for a wedding gown.
I liked that I was able to communicate with them through email. It made my life much easier.

I am so happy to have purchased my gown at Brickhouse. Let me list why.
Before the appointment, they were super flexible about scheduling. I had to move my appt 3 times (my mom was in for the weekend from florida and we were booking back to back), and I encountered NO sass, just incredible pleasantness. I also emailed them a picture of a dress that I had my heart set on. They didnt have it at the time, but called me to let me know they would get it before I came in. As a nice touch, they were genuinely excited FOR me.
At the appointment — Jackie. Jackie was my consultant. She was super fun to work with, made me feel SO confident, and immediately understood my vision. My fiancé and I chose to have our wedding in New Orleans despite not being from there, but Jackie was! So once I found my dress, she knew just what to do to take it from absolutely perfect, to OH MY GOD i could never have imagined anything even close to this amazingness.
I did have some other dresses/​stores in the running. The folks at Brickhouse were SO patient and accommodating as I wavered — staying open late for two days in a row.
So, the staff really makes it here!

I had an appointment for wedding dress shopping, as this is a very popular place to go in the Houston area. Even though I was on time for my appointment, my consultant was running late because of an earlier appointment that was longer than expected. (This was no big deal to me, as it’s understandable that this can happen.) My mother and I ended up waiting around 30 minutes to even be helped, and it was by a totally different consultant who didn’t seem happy to be there. She offered no real help, and seemed to want to rush me out once she saw I wasn’t liking anything that I had clipped. I was not offered to try anything on with a veil, and she told me I could once I come back and buy the dress… I would think someone wouldn’t decide to buy a dress without trying a veil with it.
Overall, this place didn’t come anywhere near close to what I expected, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here.

Jessica at Brickhouse was a gem; I loved my experience there!
I was able to get a same day appointment (on Black Friday!) when we realized all my sisters were in one place at one time. Whoo hoo! Parking was easy and we were greeted by several friendly staff members. Jessica introduced herself and got a little more info from me, then she gave me 5 clips. The first step was to wander around and clip any dresses that I wanted to try on (or, my sisters wanted me to, ha).
From there the appointment was so much fun! Going through all the dresses — on your own, without pressure was my second favorite part (second to trying on of course!)
Once the initial selections were done we went to the «staging» area. We had the back area to ourselves and we were served mimosas while I paraded about. We went through my first selections very quickly, and Jessica showed her stuff: She was able pinpoint the direction to go in next based off of direct feedback, but also comments made here or there. I was super comfortable with her from the get-​go and trusted her opinions and suggestions immediately.
Surprisingly we were able to narrow it down pretty quickly, i.e., within an hour. But I never felt rushed and was never even aware of the time. Jessica acted as though I had all day (I might have? Not sure how appointments work). Once we decided on my favorite she took my measurements and walked me through next steps, should I wish to take them.
Sadly (for a number of reasons), I will unable to purchase the gorgeous gown we found for me. My wedding will be a very small affair and in a very casual setting. My experience here totally changed the way I thought about wedding dress shopping, I can’t imagine needing to go anywhere else but here; highly recommended.

I absolutely loved Brickhouse Bridal! After going to another bridal store, Brickhouse Bridal ended up bing where I bought my wedding dress. First off, their customer service and employees are just wonderful. I never had a problem making an appointment (they called and emailed to confirm, very quick with responses). My assistant for my fitting was so kind! She was very helpful and made my appointment so fun! She had great ideas and was very helpful for anything I needed. The whole staff was smiling and friendly.
Their dress selection is incredible! They have TONS of dresses of all different styles and brands. They even supply bridesmaids dresses and the mother’s of the bride and groom dresses, as well as flower girl dresses! They had a wide selection of accessories (jewelry, garters, headpieces, veils, etc.) Not to mention this bridal shop was so pretty — bright lights and pretty details. I’m so glad I purchased from here!

I wish it was possible to give this bridal shop a negative star.
Let me start off by saying Cyndi Fenton, the «floor manager», might be one of the most unprofessional, nastiest human beings that I’ve ever dealt with.
I was fitted a few months ago for the Watter bridesmaid dress (5518). The girl that fitted me measured me at 30, 25 ½, 35 ½. She said that would be a size 0. I thought that was weird bc I’ve never been a size 0 before (I’ve got a «bubble butt») but I’ve also never been fitted for a bridesmaid dress. I also was told the dress was a-​line so I thought she suggested a 0 since my waist and boobs are small and there would be room to fit my hips. Since she was the «bridesmaid dress expert» and especially since this is such an expensive dress, I trusted her opinion. This dress was $ 300! Well, I get the dress and it doesn’t fit. It will zip up but the dress is so tight around my hips, it looks absolutely horrible. The bride called the shop but the manager was unwilling to help unless I came into the store and suggested that I gained weight. I live in Austin so I was unable to go into the store immediately but I called first thing on Monday and was told the dress had been out of the store too long, I signed a contract, and I probably gained weight. I have not gained weight, if anything, I’ve lost weight getting ready for this beach destination wedding.
So I went to a bridal shop in Austin,(Serendipity Bridal) because they sell Watters bridesmaid dresses and had them measure me. The lady measured me at 30, 25 ½, and 39! I asked how the BHB lady would have been so off on my measurements and she said if the girl was young and inexperienced she might have measured me at the hip bone (high hip) instead of the largest part of the hip, like the Watter measurement sheet advises. A 39 hip measurement would have put me at a size 8 (possibility fit in a 6 with a pair of spanx). I asked the consultant to measurement me at my high hipbone and LO AND BEHOLD, the measurement is a 35 ½.
I called BHB again and spoke with Cindy and that’s when things got ugly. She blamed me for not knowing that I wasn’t a size 0. She said in full b*tch mode «you are telling me that your hip measurements are 39 and you thought you could fit into a 0?» I told her it absolutely was NOT my fault because I was told that consultant was an expert at bridesmaid dresses and I’ve never been fitted for a dress before and I do NOT make a living from fitting dresses and I had NO way of knowing that consultant was incompetent. I’m assuming since she was handling BM instead of brides that she was newer and had less experience. I asked Cindy if I could have the sample dress (since it was in the same color) and she said «no» because it was against policy and I signed a contract. I know a lot about contracts because I work with them every day and BHB did not hold up their end of the contract because the consultant did NOT measure me correctly. Cindy continued to blame me and said «she can’t just take the word of every bride and bridesmaid» and continued to imply that I was lying. I asked her to at least consider the logic that there is NO way that I gained weight but all of my other measurements are the same. She did not offer any solution except said I could order some more fabric, at my own cost of course. I knew that it didn’t matter if I drove to Houston right then and had her remeasure me, she isn’t going to do anything to rectify this.
I would like to add that all three girls that were fitted by this «bridemaid expert» are struggling to fit into their dress. Two other ladies sent in their measurements because they were out of town during our appointment and THEIR DRESSES FIT! The whole experience of the fitting was horrible, in of its self. We were being rushed out because it was Saturday. The bride not only bought her bridal gown there but one of her bridesmaid bought her wedding gown there, as well as all of her bridemaids dresses. In total, 17 dresses from our party had been purchased at this shop. I would expect a little bit better treatment for returning customers.
Again CYNDI FENTON should not be allowed to work in the customer service industry and I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Serendipity Bridal in Austin offered to sell me their sample dress because they felt so bad for me. The ladies there were so nice and so helpful. They were also very knowledgeable and offered a solution to my problem and it WASNT EVER THEIR MISTAKE. THIS is how our bridal party experience should be. So if you are in the Houston area, I suggest making a day trip to Austin to look for a dress and also eat at Hopdoddy in the same shopping center. Not bridal diet friendly but really good burgers!

Brickhouse was my first stop to look for wedding dresses. Even though I ultimately bought my dress at another shop, I did find an amazing headpiece here which I ordered, and I’m so glad I stopped at Brickhouse first.
The staff here are so friendly and fun to work with. I was greeted at the door with a lot of smiles which started to put me at ease. I had mega bigger girl dress trying on anxiety because I’m not a sample size and for some reason I had it in my head that the boutiques would be a little judgy. Not so at all!
I was paired with bridal consultant Jackie who was totally awesome. She knew which dresses to start and end with for max effect, and brought in a few different cuts into the room just so we could try a variety and eliminate what we knew didn’t work. And she was a total pro at clipping me into the dresses so that they looked really good walking out to show my little entourage. Best of all, she totally stuck up for me in the battle of sleeves v. strapless, silencing the naysayers (for the record, I wanted strapless)!
I definitely recommend Brickhouse to any bride.

Amazing experience here, although I didn’t purchase a wedding dress. The store was clean and modern. I was given 6 clips to put on dresses around the store that I liked. It was really fun because it wasn’t like a warehouse feel at all, and most of the dresses were gorgeous and my style.
On Saturdays they make you share a viewing area with another bride, which I thought could be stressful, but it was actually alright because the other family was fun and kept complimenting my choices.
My consultant really listened to what I was after, and pulled great dresses. I didn’t find «the one» but definitely had more of an idea of what worked on me and what details were important to me. She never once tried to put me in a dress outside my budget. She gave me a card with the dress designers and styles that I liked, which was great because I’ve heard about other stores trying to hide that information from brides so they can’t find a dress at another shop.

If you only go to one place in Houston to shop for wedding dresses, go to Brickhouse Bridal. They were absolutely fantastic. The service was great and they have a huge selection. It’s exactly what you would want and expect out of buying your wedding dress.
Brickhouse came highly recommended to me by two other friends who bought their dresses there, and I had a fantastic experience.
Essentially the process works like this: Schedule an appointment ahead of time. When you get there, they give you clips that are a certain color (I can’t remember exactly how many, I think it was 8). You go around the store and «clip» the dresses you are interested in trying on. They have a wide range of styles, looks, price ranges, etc. I really enjoyed this part of the process — my mom and Matron of Honor and I had a great time narrowing down our favorites. Also, it’s nice that there is absolutely no pressure from the sales people (not that they are pushy at all — it’s just nice to figure out what you like first). From there, you try on the dresses you picked and the sales person also suggests other similar dresses you may want to to try based on what you are liking. After you narrow it down, they start showing you options for accessories and veils and finishing the look.
Tip: They have a few different staging areas where they set you up to try on dresses. One is next to a window and has a lot of natural/​outdoor light and one is on the interior of the store and has indoor lighting. If you give them a heads up on whether your wedding will be indoors or outdoors, they may be able to place you on the stage that matches the lighting you will have at your wedding to give you a better idea of exactly how all of the details will look on the day of.
I didn’t ultimately end up buying my dress at Brickhouse because I happened to find the dress somewhere else closer to my house for a bit cheaper — but that’s really only because I went to so many different places to try on dresses. If the idea of going to several different shops stresses you out, go to Brickhouse only and call it a day. You won’t be disappointed.

We came here to shop for my sisters wedding dress! We loved the friendliness of the staff and Brickhouse itself is an outstanding bridal shop. The building, the layout, and of course all the dresses! I would recommend Brickhouse Bridal to any new brides!

I came here because I found a Paloma Blanca dress online that I’ve been searching for in stores in Houston. I wasn’t able to find it. I contacted Brickhouse Bridal and they said they didn’t have it either. Bummer. The person I spoke to in email said I could talk to my consultant about it and either 1) order it, or 2) try something on similar.
I walked in and WOW, so many dresses along the walls. My heart begins to beat with excitement. I only wish that my sister or mom was able to come with me that day.
I check in at the front and was told that my consultant was finishing up with another person but I needed to fill out a paper with my information. I was then given 6 clips to start choosing my dresses. You start with 6 dresses to try on and if you need more, you will go back out and put the 6 clips on other dresses. I didn’t even make it half way around the store! lol.
My consultant found me as I was pinning my 5^th or 6^th dress. I told her what I was going for and she brought a dress for me to try on.
I tried on my first dress and I LOVED it!!! The consultant brought me a belt to try on, and then a veil. So many options with the belt and veil. Heavennnnn! It was perfect.
I wasn’t pressured to buy the dress. I was offered a 10% discount if I bought the dress that day but I declined. Simply because I need to show my mom and sister. I sent them pictures on the phone but I want them to see it in person. :)
I definitely recommend coming here for your dress! I also noticed there were bridesmaid dresses (3 small walls) in the back corner and the bridesmaids get 10% off their dresses. Score! When I come back with my mom and sister, I will have to check them out again.
Also, the price for my dress + veil + belt were amazingly in my budget.
Oh! They have both Day and Night lighting for you to step on the platform and see how your dress will look. This is great since most places just have standard (day) lighting. My wedding will be at night so I found this to be helpful.

If you want to be snubbed by rude employees and an even more rude manager, this is the place for you. Whatever they claim their credo to be, these ladies ultimately care about making the all mighty dollar.
Whenever I went, the place was PACKED. I had made my appointment months in advance, and we even got there early, but there was no room for us. There was someone to help us, but nowhere for us to actually sit and enjoy the experience. I tried on dresses and was shooed from mirror to mirror. Another employee there even argued with the girl helping me and told her this mirror was taken. I was basically «Forrest Gump’ed» the whole time. «Seat’s taken».
Their excuse? «We’re busy». Said I should reschedule my appointment even though I was already there, but that’s all they could offer me. When a spot/​mirror came open, they said my friends couldn’t sit there because another customer (who wasn’t even there yet) was using it. I live in West U. Do I want to drive another 1.5 hours back there some other time considering my initial experience was awful? Methinks not!
Please, do yourself a favor and go to Ventura’s or Weddings By Debbie. They’ll treat you like the princess you are and make your bridal experience magical. Brickhouse will not.
Oh, and FYI… though a couple of my friends did have a wonderful experience here (good for them), they both DO NOT recommend ordering anything other than your wedding gown here (if you choose to do so). One of my friends ended up receiving the wrong dress size for her bridesmaid, and they told her there was nothing they could do. They made a mistake and told her to just tell her friend to go a tailor.
My other friend received the wrong dress for one of her girls, and they made her pay for a replacement! Sure, they split the cost with her, but if the shop makes the mistake, they should pay for it. I guess they just wanted to squeeze every dollar they could out of her. She even said the manager (I wonder if it was the same one I dealt with) was extremely rude to her and was very blasé about the whole ordeal. She didn’t even apologize for what happened. Lady, if you’re reading this, a simple «I’m sorry» goes a long way.
Maybe my experience was a fluke, but I’m fairly certain if three different girls didn’t have a stellar experience, this isn’t exactly the place to drop thousands of dollars on a dress or dresses in general. Yikes.

My mother and I popped in one Saturday in February of 2014 to look around the store because it was the only location I could find that carries Martina Liana and I was currently crushing on a style. The store was busy and the staff was bustling around.
Even though the Brickhouse Bridal staff was busy, my mom and I were politely greeted and told to browse the store and if we could be fit in for an appointment they would come let us know.
Well, after an hour of browsing (and drooling over the dress selection which ranges from $ 1000 and up) my mom and I decided to do it right and come back with an official appointment set up.
I called and we made an appointment for a Friday at 11:30am so we could have a true Brickhouse Bridal appointment. I also emailed them the list of dresses that my mom and I really liked when we were browsing.
Come Friday, we show up about 15 minutes early and we are warmly greeted, asked to sign in, and we are given information about how the appointment will work. After getting our clips, my mom and I start around the store putting them on dresses I would like to try on.
After I ran out of clips, we were introduced to Jacqueline «Jacky» Statom. A+++ to this consultant. She asked me about the dresses I selected and what I was looking for and what experience I have had so far. I told her that my mom and I had stopped by 3 other bridal shops, but didn’t find anything that made me go «Oh my, I’m beautiful, this is the dress.» She understood that I was getting confused about what I wanted (models make everything gorgeous) and what would really work on me and said she would help me out.
Well let me tell you what, of all the dresses I put a clip on, the first one she picked out for me to try on wasn’t my favorite, but she said she liked to start with a bang.
It was one of those moments where I realized seeing the dress on me and imagining what the dress would look like on me was completely opposite (and in a good way for once!) I was blown away.
Jacky realized that this might be the dress for me and asked if I wanted to try a veil… duh… beautiful dramatic floor length beaded veil, she knew my style so well already. My mom loved it, I LOVED IT and I felt beautiful.
Jacky took me back to look at the other dresses that I had picked out, and just none of them could compare anymore once I had that first dress on. She did convince me to try on one more dress to make sure. I did and it was beautiful… but I had a BUT about the dress and she shook her head and said, «if there is a but, it’s not the dress.» She was right.
I switched out of the second dress and back into the first one. She decked me out with a different veil because I did want a blusher, earrings that were gorgeous and a beautiful headpiece. The overall look was a fairy princess that grew up. I was so happy and my mom had tears in her eyes.
We did receive a 10% discount because we bought the dress on our first visit, and a discount on the headpiece also.
From pop-​in to credit card swipe, I was treated with respect, politeness, and just a wonderful overall experience. I never felt like I was just another sale or felt like anything was being pushed on me. I truly felt special and like they wanted me to be happy. Great customer service should never be overlooked and this place has heaps of it! Now I can’t wait to go pick up the dress once it comes in!

Great shop, carries Watters and other great designers. Loved that they let you browse on your own but gave you advice as you went along. Wish the final cost included them pressing or steaming the dress but they didn’t offer that. Also, be sure to tell them your price range or check as you are going around– they don’t always ask up front.
Ended up buying my dress here and was thrilled. very sweet girls and they gave me a cute pair of earrings when I bought my dress.

A friend of mine suggested this place. I hesitated at first because it was about 45 minutes away from me! according to the navigation.
Even though with the location, it didn’t stop me to give it a try.
I made an appointment the following day. The place is actually a good size with many dress selections. A friend of mine told me that it is important to start early to find the perfect wedding dress because it usually takes 5 – 7 months to get in. GUESS what? she was right. SO my suggestion, start early!
Anyways, we we’re greeted politely. They get so packed during the weekend so if you are able to come in during the week, go for it!
We we’re greeted kindly by the consultant and gave us some time to browse around the boutique. My mom and sister was with me and the boutique has a good amount of dresses to choose from compare to the other boutique I’ve been through.
Kace was my consultant! Very sweet and very helpful. After 6 tries, I quickly fell inlove with two dresses and got stuck trying to figure out which one I like the most.
But of course, with the help of my mom and sister and kace, I found the one! I’m lucky I didn’t have to go to 5 different boutiques to find the one.
