I hate to even share how great this (Land Rovers Unlimited n/​k/​a British Unlimited) place because it will become too crowded. Been coming here since 2009, and never disappointed. 1^st RR was a 4.6 HSE, and Luis Herrera kept it running perfectly until it and my CLK430 flooded Memorial Day. I knew I could trust Luis years ago, when a RR mechanic downtown said a leak I had wasn’t that bad, but when I went to Luis for a 2^nd opinion and he confirmed that it was very bad. That downtown mechanic was actually waiting for it to get worse so the bill would be higher. Luis noted that it was a pin seal and could be fixed for a little over $ 100. Left unrepaired, it would have been much more later. Only reason I bought a 2^nd RR, a 2006 RR Sport, is because I trust him and I know what I am getting. He is honest, fair, funny and never assumes a problem is the worse case scenario or highest price, and understands the RR like the back of his hand. He has never been stumped, and his work is stellar and reasonably price. Wish his place was closer to town, or he’d open a second location, then everything would be perfect. RR for life, or when he quits fixing them.

This is the only shop to go to if you love your Rover! Luis and his team really know Land Rovers and it shows! They are extremely professional and courteous and always take the time to not only do the job right the first time but to explain to you in detail what needs to be done and why. Their pricing is extremely reasonable given the excellent level of service and dealership prices. Although I have to drive almost 30 miles from Sugar Land, Texas for their services, I would never trust my Rover to anyone else.

I had a great experience with British Unlimited for real Luis really knows all about the Range Rovers. I completely trust him with my Range Rover water was leaking from my Range Rover behind the motor. So they had to remove the transmission to get to the freeze plug. Like I said if you want your Range Rover work on Luis as a honest person

So happy I made the drive! I had been suffering with suspension problems for months. Luis quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it promptly. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He has won me and my fiancé over we will continue to return to British Unlimited for any repairs ever needed on my Range Rover. He is a fair man! Don’t hesitate do yourself a favor avoid the dealer and go see Luis.

Luis and his team are hands down the BEST in Houston and surrounding area if you need work done on your Land Rover or Range Rover. I’ve had many many issues with my LR2 and since it was under warranty would always go to the Land Rover dealership for repairs. The dealership always did an okay job and I never had to «pay» for it so the situation was fine. Once my warranty expired though, it was a completely different story. My husband started doing some research and found British Unlimited one day. Luis and his team are great to work with — they truly work for their customers and care about getting them the best deal. My LR2’s rear differential went out and they attempted to find a refurbished one that they felt was good and would last — when they couldn’t find one that they felt would last, they talked through it all with my husband and worked out a great deal for a new one. They are efficient, pleasant, professional, and will even pick up your vehicle in most parts of Houston if you plan ahead. I highly recommend anyone needing work done to their Land Rover or Range Rover to go see Luis and his team… you won’t be disappointed!

My Second Land Rover I took here. I have a newer Range Rover now and Luis and the crew knocked out my job in no time and as always worked with me on the price. Half the Price of the Dealership! I used to bring my Military Green Land Rover Discovery and now I can bring my Range. Brings me confidence in owning a Range Rover in Houston. Thanks always Luis and Crew!!!

My experience at this shop will be rewarded w service loyalty by my LR3. Mr. Luis is respectful, knowledgeable and fair. My second time here and enjoy the confidence this shop leaves me with when driving away. Well worth the hour drive for me.

Hands down this shop is run the way all car shops should be ran. Clearly exceeded my high expectations, numerous questions and treated me with service and professionalism you’d come to expect from very expensive shops. The team there put your Rover 1^st then money 2^nd. I can’t say enough about the shop other than take your Rover there if you want work done great. Over 20 – 30 rover in the shop they are all ways busy but very fast all models from collision to brakes these guys are hands down the best in houston. The drive is worth it. Ty to Luis, Josh my rover is my baby ty for loving it.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This place is a LIFE SAVING for anyone with a British car. I went to three other places trying to get my radio fixed and all quoted me thousands of dollars or said they couldn’t do it. Luis had it fixed within two hours and could not have been any nicer or more professional. Trust me on this one… this place is a Godsend. Affordable + super knowledgable/​passionate about what they do = why go anywhere else?

After being shafted by the local Jaguar/​Land Rover dealer on a number of occasions, it is so refreshing to hear «you don’t need to replace anything» when asking a mechanic about a funny noise. These guys have given me great service at lower prices for a while. These can be finicky cars and these guys clearly know their Rovers. After having a number of issues with my truck, they’ve always gone out of their way to get my Rover fixed the right way and the most efficient way possible. The shop is no frills, you won’t find an espresso machine, frilly planters, polished show room or loaner car program. However, what you pay goes directly into a quality repair and the interaction you have is an informative conversation with the man that fixed your car. This is service the way it should be done.

These guys have taken care of my Rover truck on several occasions. From oil changes to alignments and other work. They know what they are doing, you don’t feel like you are being shaken down like when you are at the dealer and they always are very helpful. If you have a LandRover there’s really no other place to go.

These guys are legit! Takes a long drive to get out there, but they do quality work at a reasonable price. I’ve taken my discovery there twice, and both times they fixed it right the first time around.

I took my Range Rover to Land Rovers Unlimited because of the glowing reviews and great things I have heard about them from other Land Rover owners. It’s all true and then some. Luis sorted out the problems, communicated them to me along with his recommendations on what needs immediate attention and what could wait and then went to work. They are honest, friendly, fair price and just plain good people.
It is so refreshing to have found a mechanic shop that takes pride in their work, their knowledge of the vehicles, and really cares for their customers and their vehicles. I was prepared to pay a lot for the amount of work done but was glad he did not overcharged me like the past mechanics. In fact his prices are much much better than what I am used to paying at my old shop. I am planning to have all future service and work done by Land Rovers Unlimited.
If you own a Land Rover and take it anywhere other than Land Rovers Unlimited you are making a big mistake.

Avoid the dealers, LRU is probably the best place to go to if you want superb service on your vehicle. As complicated as these cars are, Luis and his team really put their work into it at competitive pricing.
After searching for repair shops around town for some mechanical work that needed to be done on my RRS due to a failing part on my powertrain and 2 other minor issues. Several other shops around town were either charging astronomical prices on P&L that were close to dealer quote, quoted a 1 – 1.5 week turnaround, or didn’t do the service at all! I decided to try this shop out based on some recommendations from several owners on an online forum. I called to set up everything to be done on Friday and the truck was out of the shop by next morning. The service was extremely fast for this sort of major repair and applaud the work that was done.

I’m used to seeing some comprehensive paper report on the car’s diagnostics, but on my visits, I’ve only had verbal reports on the car’s status. It would be nice to have documentation as I keep my maintenance papers on file. Other than that… nothing really!

If you are looking for a good and honest workshop then Unlimited Land Rover is the place to take your Range Rover to. I had recent moved to North Houston area and was looking for an alternative to Range Rover dealership. I am so glad I found Unlimited Land Rover. The owner, Luis, is super friendly and extremely focused on good customer service and values repeat business. He worked with my extended warranty to make sure the parts and service were covered by my warranty — something I have also had an issue with when I took the car to the dealership. All repairs were done to my satisfaction at a very reasonable cost. The shop was clean and staff was very professional. I needed a ride back and forth from Park Ride while my car was getting worked on. Luis and his service manager (Adam) made arrangements for me to get dropped off and picked up from the park ride so that I can my take commuter bus. Without a doubt I will be taking my Range Rover back to Luis whenever I need any work done. I highly recommend this place to all Range Rover owners for quality service at a much better price then dealership.

My family currently owns 3 Land Rovers and have had 2 others in the past. Land Rovers Unlimited (Luis) has never done anything to cause us to spend any unnecessary money and has ALWAYS been there for us. A mechanic was even dispatched to me in a parking lot when the oil light malfunctioned just to make sure there wasn“t anything serious going on. Customer service has always been exceptional and pricing always fair. God forbid if I ever have to have anyone else work on one of our vehicles, they could never measure up. I trust the Land Rovers Unlimited team completely.

I have to start by saying that if you own a Land Rover and have only ever taken it to the dealership, never considered it anything more than a super-​luxury vehicle that can only be properly worked on by guys in khaki shits and factory paychecks– move along back to your super-​luxury repair bills.
This place is the absolute BEST place to get the Land Rover name-​plate serviced for completely reasonable prices in Houston.
I brought my vehicle here before for several problems and Luis, the owner, and his team are like wild-​men when it comes to just taking care of problems. They fixed the problem and also did a couple of preventative maintenance things without a mention on the invoice.
I called to see how much a head gasket job on my 2004 Discovery II would be… $ 1100.00! Compared to the $ 3,000 (at least) you would pay at the dealer. I decided to to the work myself– but time has been tight and I still think about bringing it over to them to finish.
There is nothing fancy about the shop, but the guys know there stuff and are accountable in the Houston Land Rover Community. They are a low budget shop doing some really great work.
I HIGHLY recommend them!
