I have been working with aquariums on a professional level now for 17 years. Two of those years were at the Houston Zoo Kipp Aquarium where I was hired to revive the 4,000 gallon reef zone aquarium system. CAE, LLC. was created while I was a zookeeper there and has grown exponentially since then.

I have been working with aquariums on a professional level for 17 years now. In the beginning of my career I worked in and around the Dallas/​Fort Worth area. While working at an aquarium maintenance company in Plano, TX I was responsible for many of the companies most high-​end clientele. I successfully maintained aquarium systems at the homes of the late Lamar Hunt (Texas billionaire, helped form the American Football League, owner of the Kansas City Chiefs), Emmit Smith (Dallas Cowboys running back), and Edwin Cox (Texas billionaire) among many other discriminating and successful customers of that establishment. In 2000 I moved to the Houston area and was the manager of the saltwater section of a prominent aquarium store. After a couple years I was sought out by the curator of the Houston Zoo Kipp Aquarium for my knowledge of live coral systems. The 4,000 gallon reef zone system had been neglected for the last 6 months and I was hired to bring it back to former glory.
