We are a small animal practice offering a variety of services, including routine preventative care for young, healthy pets, early detection of disease and treatment as your pets age, as well as general surgeries, digital radiography and boarding.

History

Established in 1982.

Dr. Susan Thomas opened the doors to Cypresswood Animal Clinic in 1982 and has been serving the Spring area since. She has watched our current clients grow into the adults they are today and we are continuing the tradition by watching their children grow up.

My friend couldn’t get out of work. And her cat was in so much pain. So she asked me if I would be able to help her out. Appointment was set at 3pm. Saw the doctor. Got the diagnosis. Left 30 minutes after. Dr. Karla Hillard was nice and friendly. But I was disappointed the doctor was guessing. «I’m guessing…» No x-​ray. Since it was a broken bone. Not very reassuring. They charged $ 40 for a brief exam. The cat didn’t have insurance. So I think the prices are reasonable compared to other places. I told my friend to get a second opinion.

A lot of people think this vet is great and reasonably priced so that’s why I went there. I wasn’t crazy about the vet or the girl at the front desk. It seemed as if they just rushed us through. The vet didn’t take the time to talk to me and treated me like I know nothing about my dogs. I was charged over $ 120 for 2 flea treatments and 2 heartworm treatments. I’m sorry but that is way overpriced for 1 month of treatments for two very small dogs! I’m shopping for another vet and will not return to this one.

These are the nicest ladies around, they truly love pets and helped me when my pup got a very bad spider bite on his side. They got me in and out in no time. Doctor H was very nice and we got my pup fixed up in no time. They even helped me with payment options! Thank you very much for a very good experience. I have already recommended them to others. I will definitely be coming here whenever I need vet help. Thanks guys!

I’ve been coming here for years. When Dr Thomas was the vet.(Great lady) She’s retired now. So now I’m not so sure. They have cleaned the place up & it looks & smells great, BUT the time you have to wait is ridiculous and I had an appt. All the people that was there waiting, also said the say thing. The vet that I saw was ok. He did not give a whole lot of info as to what was wrong with my dog tho. The receptionist does not pay attn very well. She ran my credit card for someone else bill & that was not the 1st time that has happened. She has done it in the past. I will say that the vet cost is still cheaper than other’s around the area. I use to love this place but I think I am going to find some where else to take my pets. So that I can get the care they need instead of a IDK answer.

This is the clinic that employed Kathie Digilio even after she was twice disciplined by the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. In 2009 she was dispensing drugs without a current license and was fined $ 1000. In 2013 she received a formal reprimand for animal cruelty and was fined $ 500. That was before she was exposed for starving her own horses in 2014 at which time she still worked at Cypresswood Animal Clinic. Always research your vet before putting your beloved pets in their care since clinics like this one obviously do not care who they hire.

Very fast and inexpensive! I love that she is good with my animals and we are in and out so quickly! The prices definitely beat the other anal clinics I have been to in the past.
