French Quarter Salons

Its a time in every woman’s life, when she just wants to be free. Free from razors, shavers and bumps… Today I visited Pristine Body Studio in the French Quarter Salons and left looking and feeling clean as a whistle, literally. She made my experience getting a brazilian pleasant and comfortable with her natural products, and did a personal consultation before and after. I will see you next month Ms. Monique thanks a lot.

I haven’t experienced any other services, so the atmoshphere is nice and the salon is well decorated. I’m displeased because the service I did go for, my nails, ended badly each time I went. I’ve gone to jennie for my nails twice and was disappointed both times. Both appointments I arrived 5 – 10 minutes early and was attended to 10 minutes late. She spent more time tending to her phone than my nails and I felt rushed every time she did my nails like she didnt care how they turned out. I hoped with my first appointment it would be a one time thing since I was the last appointment and i figured she wanted to get home, unfortunately I was wrong. She never checked to make sure I was happy with her work.
My second appointment was to take off my solar nails and get a manicure. She didn’t remove all of the solar nail, hardly buffed or shaped my nails, and didn’t even put lotion on my hands. I could have just payed to take off my solar nails (kind of) and painted my nails at home and done a better job.
With such poor service I can easily say I won’t be going back.

My first time visiting this beautiful establishment was today! It is a very nice upscale building, with lots off different independent beauty businesses. Today I went for an eyebrow waxing and a loc Maintenance with a color and style.
Let’s just say I am beyond pleased. I recieved my eyebrow waxing from Ms. Lisa Etie & my loc Maintenance was done by Ms. Kym. Both women were very professional and were very open with answering any questions I had to ask. What I loved most about their services is that they were not afraid to give their advice/​suggestions and I loved that. Everyone there rents out a privately owned room so it allows them to have free will with decorating. I loved both women’s rooms, very inviting and cozy. I felt like I have found a new home! Ms. Lisa Etie also provides face and body skin care and waxing. Ms. Kym offers her loc expertise and provides loc maintenance and 2 strand twisting. And they both accept credit/​debit cards!

My stylist Hali moved here from Shag salon. I have to say this is a very beautiful salon! The building def is one you would see in New Orleans with impeccable French country décor on the inside. The suites are privately rented out and it’s nice to be In a much more relaxing and quiet atmosphere when I get my hair done. The old salon my stylist was at was very busy and a lot of hustle and bustle. If you need your hair done go see Hali and her sis Lauryn, they are great at what they do! :)

I’m so excited that I found this gem! The French Quarter Salon is an upscale shop that is made up of independent stylists, estheticians & massage therapists. Each stylist has their own room, beautifully and professionally decorated. I loved that I had privacy and full-​focus on me (the client) during my appointment. Very professional!
I came in to get my make-​up and an up-​do done for a wedding that I attended recently. I was recommended to Amy Simon for my hair and Leigh Budro for make-​up. Let me tell ya, they did not disappoint. Amy is such a talented and fun stylist! She made me feel comfortable about asking questions/​making suggestions while she was working on my hair but more importantly, she knew exactly what she was doing! What a relief! She also owns Perzia’s Way Boutique, which is located inside the salon, right by the entrance. She has cute blouses, stylish jeans, lots of jewelry & so much more. I can’t stop saying great things about Amy, she was awesome!
Now, I’m not used to wearing lots of make-​up so you can imagine my fear when it comes to having my make-​up done for a special event. I’m always afraid that they’ll overdue it and I’ll end up looking like a clown! Leigh was so calm and professional, asking me questions about what eye shadow colors I was comfortable wearing, explaining the products she was using as she applied them, etc. Needless to say, she knew what she was doing so, I trusted her skills. I got exactly what I asked for and I’m happy that I’ve finally found someone to trust with my make-​up for special events.
I can’t wait to go back and visit for other services. I’ll definitely be visiting Amy for a haircut soon! So happy I had this welcoming and professional experience at The French Quarter Salon.
