Came here after a movie. Fiancé and I wanted to try something new. And we are not happy. Tacos were served with cold meats. Crispy taco shells were stale. Spent 25 and did not eat most of it. Will not return. Should have went to Taco Bell.

Eh it’s ok if you are starving. I ordered the nachos and they are pretty stingy with the toppings. I also had the Churros and those were gross and did not taste like anything.

I want to love Fuzzy’s, really I do, but their service is horrid. The managers don’t seem to understand the concept of «Service with a Smile,» and as such, neither do their employees, with one or two exceptions(like the little blond high school girl who is always friendly and helpful!). The managers are so hands off with the customers that there is no sense that they value return customers or comprehend how much they set the atmosphere for the place. As for the food, it is usually good, but there have been more than a few occasions when the refried beans have tasted rancid or old, hard rice has been mixed with fresh rice. Almost every time I’ve gone in(10 – 12 times), something has been wrong with our order– and it is usually more than one thing. Take your food back to the kitchen or mention it to a manager, and you’re more likely to get a grunt than an apology. They really don’t seem to care about the customers. Most businesses live and die by the amount of repeat customers they get. A steady flow of new customers does little if you can’t retain them and make them happy to come back. The GM needs to take this store in hand, raise their expectations of the atmosphere the regular managers, kitchen and floor staff will set, and clean up the kitchen or I predict this store will be gone by this time next year.

Love me some fuzzys but this location needs a kick in the butt. Meals take twice the time to come out over other locations, orders aren’t always correct, and tables aren’t prepped for customers.

This location in no way compares to any other Fuzzys I have ever experienced. The frozen margarita was not frozen, the guacamole was bland and had brown veins running through it like old product and the salad lettuce was old and soggy as if it had been frozen and then thawed out. I will give it one more try one day because of location but my first experience here was not good.

I am extremely disappointed with this place. Being new to this area I was hoping for a good chain Mexican food restaurant nearby. We live in Texas so Mexican food should be an easy deal. This place tasted like reheated Sysco food. I have tried them 3 times to see if the kinks would work out, not the case. If this store represents the rest of the chains, how are they still in business??? I have had much better food at Taco Cabana. The last time I tried them it was a week night and my husband and I were looking for something quick and nearby. After being unimpressed from visiting at breakfast time we decided to give them another try for dinner. My husband got a taco plate and myself a enchilada plate. It was terrible, cold, tasteless food. There was a kid in the back probably just reheating this stuff up. No flavor for Mexican food much less any food. I won’t be back — 3 Strikes and Your Out! I really hope this place goes out of business and something much better opens up.

What a terrible experience, don’t waste your money. My husband and I came here for dinner and we’re both let down. We had their shredded chicken tacos and spicy pork tacos and they both tasted like they had been cooked prior in the week and reheated in the microwave. The queso was cold, beans tasted like they were from a can and the rice was under cooked. This place won’t be open long, they can’t compete with torchys or chipotle.

How is this chain even in business? I’m sat here looking around — staff are completely self consumed and service is non existent ! The briskest taco was awesome… all others were very cookie cutter $ 1 tacos from a street van! NO manager! I’ve been here twice now! the build out is impressive but it will not succeed based on my views… Unless we have become so used to average everything! Torchys pls come to 2920 and kiykendahl and show them how it’s done! And no I’m not a torchys employee just a really disappointed fuzzys’ customer! Last time for me — shame brisket was pretty good!!!

It was my first time coming to this location and the food is mediocre at best! I ordered 3 tacos. The first was a fish taco and it was super greasy and the taco only had two small pieces of fish. I tasted pure batter and not much else. The second taco was a brisket taco and that taco was pretty good. The meat was well seasoned and and a good amount of meat in it. The third was the breakfast chorizo and egg taco. Again nothing special, but for the price I could’ve gotten some better tacos else where. The atmosphere is pretty laid back and they have a generous alcohol and drink selection. The best thing my wife and I had were the chips and queso blanco. That was delicious and the chips were well seasoned and not very greasy. Would I come back to eat here? Probably not…

If there was a way to give zero stars I would. The staff are VERYNICE! This is about the food. The chips have a salty spice all over them. It’s so gross. They will give you plain ones. Sweet guys in the kitchen. The salsa is inedible. Seriously — I am a salsa snob, but Pace Picante is better than this place. The queso was a disaster. So plain. White cheese — no flavor. Didn’t even taste like cheese. Just hot goo. I got the tortilla soup — it was disgusting. Seriously — I took half a sip and had to throw it out. I was so excited to see Fuzzy’s Tacos open. I wish someone had written a review because I wouldn’t have gone in.

We will be back just mostly because it is close and fast. For the price though, I wish there was a Freebirds closer. Menu reminds me of Taco Cabana. Portions are small, tacos were decent but nothing spectacular. Queso was great, chips are good. Tortillas were cold, which didnt excite my husband. If youre hungry, stop by but I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here.

I came in to order a take out. I’ve always gone to torchy’s but this location was so close to home I decided to give it a try. First of all, the menu is on electronic screens with lots of colors and was very confusing to read. I asked the cashier to help me since I just wanted a couple of tacos and chips and queso. She failed to give me suggestions or recommendations. So I just ordered the first two tacos I saw. The wait was pretty lengthy 15 minutes for 4 tacos and dip. I sat at a table near the pick up counter and the preppers were obviously(loudly) goofing around and not focused on prepping orders. When my buzzer buzzed, I went to collect my order which was in an unattractive, unlabeled paper bag. I looked inside and I was missing half my order. I had to interrupt the preppers who were busy conversing to let them know and I had to wait even longer. I think customer service is the most important part of a business and this one really needs to work on promoting it. They need to be more friendly and engaged with their paying(and waiting) customers. And the food was mediocre. I’ll gladly take the drive to Torchy’s next time.

I wish I could give 5 stars as the other locations I have been to have been phenomenal. With that being said, this location has potential but the kitchen staff does not seem to have woken up yet at 8:15pm. Our buzzer went off for order completion, and only received 3 of 5 items. Had to ask and repeat my order even though it should be right in front of them. Then got to the table to realize that the last item was STILL wrong. Several other customers in the same boat and while one employee seemed helpful the other two just stood around talking to each other. Cashier and bar staff were extremely helpful and even stepped in to help with the kitchen nightmare. Will be ordering ahead now from on. And triple checking before leaving.

I’ve always been a fan of Fuzzy’s, so I was super excited when this one opened up just a few minutes away! Giving your typical Fuzzy’s feel, it’s very laid back and chill with a steady crowd of families, date nights and movie goers. My favorite thing on the menu are the baja shrimp tacos on a flour tortilla(YUMMY!). When I’m really hungry I add on the cilantro rice and black beans(double yum)! I will say that I didn’t care too much for the queso, a bit stringy to me, but I enjoyed the seasoned chips! I’ll probably give the queso another go, just in case it was an off day! Great chill place for everyone, the restaurant is very clean and the staff is super friendly! This is a great spot for a quick bite or to just chill and relax.

First time to try this place. We chose to come for breakfast. I ordered the potato, egg & cheese taco. It was fair. Eggs were overlooked, potatoes were cold — I think they must make a batch of potatoes ahead of time. Flour tortilla slightly warm. Husband ordered the Chilaquiles with ground beef. He said it was okay, agreed with me on the eggs being overlooked. Might give it another try for lunch or dinner but probably won’t go for breakfast again.

OK, my blood sugar level is normal this time, so I can actually focus on the food(and it didn’t hurt that it didn’t take an eternity to get it this time)! They have a wide variety of Tex-Mex: enchiladas, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, taco(natch), and even breakfast items! Looks like they have a pretty decently-stocked bar, as well. Food tastes fresh, and I like the flavors. One caveat: The REALLY like feta here. I mean, I think it’s their way of serving a Cotija-style cheese but l am not a big fan. Luckily they will custom-make your order. As long as I can avoid the where-for-the-love-of-all-of-God’s-creatures-is-my-damn-food type situation from before, I will keep coming back.

So let me start by saying this place needs so much help its not even funny. I have often times gone to the Vintage Park location, so I am very familiar with how the restaurant is supposed to run. I understand that an establishment like this one attracts teenyboops for employees but, management please show them how to display good customer service. I sat at the bar for almost 10 mins before anyone even acknowledged me. I had to grab some random other teenyboop to put in my order. None of the employees at the time I arrived were of age to pour liquor therefore the only person to do was MIA for most of the time. Finally he walks out from the kitchen and makes me a drink but, I want another one!!! Even the other two patrons at the bar wanted additional libations… I’m over it. I got the nerve to just walk out bit I won’t because the tacos are soooo good and this is the closest location to me now that I have moved, but not that close. Oh I just witnessed one of the teenyboops pouring a beer, is this legal???

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about — maybe people who expect a LOT more out of a taco than I do! :) The food here is good, consistent and fast. We’ve been several times and have had their breakfast tacos, taco plate and guesadillas. All were super good. The«fried rice» is good, the refried beans are tasty, but I would pass on the potatoes. They were bland and dry. This is nothing like a Taco Bell-type kind of place. It’s more like a Chipotle — fast, cheap and tasty. With the added bonus of a sports bar vibe. Tacos + Beer + Sports = Yay!

Took the family, everyone enjoyed the food, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about, don’t think torchy’s tacos, think more a VERY ramped up version of Taco Bell, there were three things that stood out 1. They sell alcohol, that’s a plus, 2. The place is clean and staff is walking around making sure everything is ok, and 3. It was inexpensive three adults two kids for under $ 40 and we had food left over All in all I would come back to watch a game and drink a beer but if I just want fantastic tacos I would go somewhere else, the reason for the 4 stars is because taste is a matter of opinion but the service and staff where great.

Fuzzy’s Tacos is a good concept and will probably enjoy some success due to the availability of alcohol. They will NOT enjoy success due to the quality of their food. The tacos at Fuzzy’s Taco suck. Actually, all of their food sucked. I stopped by Fuzzy’s on my way home on Tuesday, 01-26-2016, at 8:00PM. Fuzzy’s was hopping and the menu looked intriguing. I ordered the following(rated 1 – 5, worst to best): 1. Crispy ground beef taco-3: Not bad, not good, Meh. 2. Soft chicken taco-3: Completely bland. It tasted like boiled chicken… Not bad, not good. Meh. 3. Soft grilled shrimp taco-1: Horrible. Took one bite and spit it out. Vile. 4. Soft bacon, egg, potato, and cheese taco-1: Extremely greasy. Took two bites and threw it away. Grease flowed out of the bottom of it. Gross. 5. Grilled fish salad-1: Deserved a negative ranking. The salad was old and wilted and the fish was disgusting. 6. Cheese enchiladas plate-1: These were the second worst enchiladas that my wife has ever tasted. She took two bites and threw it away. For sides, we ordered the fried potatoes(greasy and gross) and the refried beans(actually good beans). 7. Red sauce-1: It is sweet. WTF??? Also, everything had feta cheese instead of queso fresco. Why??? Cheaper? It doesn’t work. This place reminds me of a concept that someone drew up in business school. It wasn’t created by someone who knows how to cook…
