I love going to this Glo Sun Spa location. Everyone is always nice and very helpful. The location is clean and as soon as I walk through the door I am greeted with a smile and always helped immediately.

My friend told me about a groupon she got – decided to come in instead and see what specials they had – (apparently on a week they were having an open house) so glad I didn’t spend my money, First of all the lady with dark hair on the counter was very hard to understand, she seemed like she didn’t want to help me, told me it would be better to come back some day when the groupon is over?! I think you missed the opportunity to get my business, I think I will take it elsewhere. I felt like I was rushed out. I was honestly ready to sigh up when I went in, so the whole first impression made me take my business elsewhere.

2 stars for the worst customer service experience. There are several locations to choose from so you would think they would give some effort. At the six pines and spring cypress locations I am greeted by a friendly knowledgeable person at the door. Instead the girl working the front desk yesterday was very distracted with the phone in one capacity or another. When I first entered, she did interrupt her conversation briefly to find out what I needed, but I had to pull information from her like I was in some sort of bad game of Clue. When I told her what I wanted to do she proceeded to tell me «yes, we have a hydro station, but it’s not available.» No further explanation. To which I probed further asking«is it broken, or can I wait?» «Oh you can wait. It needs to be cleaned.» A few seconds later it was clean? Notice the timing. This girl was not paying attention. She told me it was ready and I walked back. Typically, they will walk you back and have you select from three solutions or some combination. Not this time. They apparently put whatever they want and just assume you know. So I walk back out and interrupt her again. This time I had to break her away from a text or something as I tried to get her attention twice. When I finally get her to look up from her phone, I explain the issue with the solution. She provides a brief explanation and as I am mid sentence, she goes back to her phone. At this point, I was done interrupting her and asked the only girl really working for a robe. After that service I also planned on tanning. I don’t frequent this location often, so I am never sure what I’ve used in the past. The other locations will look up your past appointments and tell you. Not this girl. «Number __is pretty good.» We decide I am to make my decision once I leave the hydrostation. So I get done, throw my robe in and out I go to decide on my tanning option. Both girls are sitting behind the desk watching the computer monitor. The first girl looks at me and says, «let me go clean it for you!» To which I say to the back of her while she ignores me, «but do you know what bed I want to use?» Confused I look to the other girl to save me. She jumps on the computer immediately and begins looking at my account to determine the bed I used last time and we decide. I’m not sure why, but instead of cleaning the beds as people get done, this location waits to see which bed you want before they clean. So you stand there waiting for them as they put your room together. Again not customer focused. The tanning bed was good and the room appeared clean. This location does not provide wipes in all rooms. So, if you want them, you have to ask for them… you guessed it, at the front desk. How much would it cost to provide this convenience in all the rooms. Other locations do. Just sayin’. I mean they are baby wipes.(Sigh) At this point I didn’t bother to ask. I left this Glo Sun Spa a bit frustrated as I waved to the first girl… you guessed it, on the phone. You have a choice… pick the other Woodlands location.
