Jack in the box is only so good to begin with. But once you in add in frequent order mistakes — they’re doomed. The worker inside who took my order was polite and took time to take our order correctly. There were a couple of small things I needed to change: like no cheese. And going through the drive through to explain that usually yields poor results. The problem is that many of the folks working in the area fast food places simply do not speak English or do so on a very limited basis. If the menu is in English, the people who work there should be able to take and fulfill my order in English as well. I take no issue where they’re from or what other languages they speak. But I need them to be able understand things like: no cheese, bacon — not sausage and so on. I’m not there to discuss quantum physics. So if workers are demanding a minimum of $ 15/hr — cool — but be able to take and fulfill and order. Because all that’s going to happen is prices will rise and customers receive the same products and lack luster service. Maybe they should be unionized. And if so, require basic comprehension of English, food safety and even some basic first aid training like the Heimlich maneuver. Maybe workers with better training & higher standards can work more efficiently, safer and not cause significant a rise in costs to these companies(and customers). What these places do is typically have workers who can speak English take the orders. But in the kitchen the workers can’t read the orders on the screen. This is a regular occurrence more often than not. This is also systematic. In other words it’s a corporate strategy. But until we start speaking out or going somewhere else, the issue will most likely never be addressed.

The food was okay except that they gave me the wrong item. I tried to call them but they don’t answer the phone. It doesn’t matter, I doubt that I will go back. When I pulled up to the drive-thru it was apparent that I was interrupting their social time together. Paying attention to getting the order correct was not a big priority…

It’s a Jack in the Box exactly like any other. Not a lot to say. The staff does not want to be there and they make it apparent to the customers. Everytime I find an employee I like she/he disappears.

The service here sucks, employees are rude and un-friendly. It is very apparent that I have upset their ability to do nothing. The coke ICEY never works and their food is is ually cold especially their fries. Not my top ranked place but one star ahead of mcdonalds.
