History

Established in 1999.

Jazz Rags was purchased in 2004 from its original owner who started the store in 1999. The location is on Interstate 45 North on the southbound feeder just south of The Woodlands Mall and North of Sawdust Rd in the Borough Park Shopping Center. We brought the store from a general dance store to a specialty Pointe Shoe & all around dancewear store because of Michelle Merryman’s extensive knowledge of Ballet. She is a graduate of the Goh Ballet in Vancouver Canada with a Certificate in Advanced Royal Academy of Dance. We have expanded into group fittings with school teams, choirs and dance classes. We are also a preferred provider of footwear for «The Houston Ballet Company’.
