Lantern researches 2 dozen+ electric companies for price &contract terms to find the most savings available. We are an independent company that makes unbiased recommendations on which provider to choose. If you accept one of our recommendations, that provider pays us an electricity-​usage-​based-​commission — the same commission they would pay their own internal sales channel — so there is no additional cost for asking us to shop on your behalf. In fact, providers often sharpen their pencils when an experienced broker calls because they know we’re shopping and also where the market is. Lastly, because the commission is usage-​based and not cost-​based, we are paid the same amount no matter which company you choose to go with, so you can trust that we are doing our best to save you the most! Just send a recent electric bill and permission to get your usage history. There’s no cost for the report and no obligation to accept our recommendation. The results will speak for themselves.

Hi! I’m Elisa Kaplan, president/​CEO of Lantern Power. Lantern Power is a fairly new company, but I have 25 years of business development experience, 17 of which are in the energy industry.

Lantern’s Mission is to help:

Seventeen years of energy information management, analysis and success with cost reduction recommendations and delivery. Twenty-​five years of business development experience. Elisa has been published in industry journals, interviewed by The Wall Street Journal and on National Public Radio, and has spoken at numerous town hall meetings to encourage legislation for corporate accountability.
