Food is good, but take out order was cancelled on me without explanation just before a business meeting. Infuriating…

I drive past this establishment all the time. I was off today and decided to stop instead of getting Chinese food. I am glad I did. I ordered a half of the ham muffaletta and it was delicious! It was so big that I could only eat half. The staff was very friendly and nice.

I was excited to learn of a muffaletta place close by. I read a review beforehand which stated it did not compare to a New Orleans one, so my expectations were not too high. The staff was super friendly and the place was extremely clean. When I ordered the ham one the first thing I noticed was they put the bread through the toaster without anything on it. Weird. Then while the bread was still in the toaster I noticed a piece of wax paper with a slice of ham, slice of salami, a piece of melted cheese. They had stuck this in a microwave and it sat waiting for over a minute for the bread to be toasted. They then put the meat and cheese on the bread and added the olive salad. So the meat/cheese just sat on the bread, when I lifted the sandwich to bite it the meat wanted to slide off. Also I was asked if I wanted mayo or mustard… a true muffaletta does not have anything but ham, salami, cheese, and olive salad on it. Why don’t people in Houston get this? Now the olive salad was excellent, the bread was true muffaletta bread, but not heating the bread with the meat and cheese already on it is a deal breaker for me. Plus a real muffaletta should be so thick with meat it’s difficult to bite. The other sandwiches purchased were excellent. The bread for all of them was superb. I can not give five stars for the simple fact you can not be called Muffaletta’s and More and not make a true muffelatta.

Bottom line review My wrap was awesome! Fresh veggies mixed with tasty bacon and Turkey. Bacon was not over salty but just right. Avocado was not in clumps but smooth and spread evenly. Report on the muff was that it was great. Seating area is spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and tentative. We will be back.

Had the turkey muffaletta. Really good. Sarah makes all the sauces and spreads herself. The olive relish for the muffaletta was very good. It doesn’t look like it’s even open but it is!

I had the Mediterranean wrap! Delicious! Very fresh! Owner makes her own sauces and dressings. She was very personable and friendly:)

The muffuletta was tasty and filling, but if you’ve ever had one in New Orleans these don’t compare at all. I shared a whole one with my husband, half ham and half turkey, but we agreed the ham was better. The lady was incredibly nice and helpful throughout. I think she was the only one working there(Sunday afternoon). That being said, the venue could use a makeover. Thus the reason for the low review. I wasn’t sure the place was even open when we walked in. The open sign wasn’t lit up, the place was dead silent(no background TV or music) and we were the only customers in there. It also seemed like there was a lot of random things for sale, yet nothing was fully stocked. We got fountain drinks, but bottled drinks and such(next to the register) were not chilled. in addition, the pastries for ale looked like they were baked at home, placed in a clear wrap, twisted off the a bread tie, and trying to sell for a profit. Just odd overall… And the longer we stayed the more strange things I noticed. I’d recommend you grab and go on a picnic instead of staying to eat. We will not likely go back. Again, the food was fine, but I can make a sandwich at home. I guess the overall experience was underwhelming.

Amazing sandwich. Got turkey and salami and provolone on muffuletta with loads of their fresh olive tapanade. Clean. Quick service. Tabouli was pretty good little deviled egg was delicious. Paid $ 11 for ½ sandwich, tabouli and 1 deviled egg which I thought a little on the high side but great food.
