History

Established in 2014.

After years of practicing dentistry, Dr. Kim and Dr. Wu realized there were many deficiencies in the dental experience: Comfort, Convenience and Quality of Dental Care. They set out to revolutionize the modern dental experience and established SpringLove Dentistry in Tomball /​Spring, Texas. Dr. Kim and Dr. Wu are the perfect husband and wife team of dentists sharing the same dental philosophy and passion of dentistry. They endeavor every day to serve their community with the best dental care, utilizing the most up to date evidence based dentistry.

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Wu and Dr. Kim.

Business Owner

Dr. Tina Wu was born in New York City and has traveled the world at a young age while developing an affinity to diversity and multicultural cuisines. Dr. Wu obtained her primary education in New York and Singapore and her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Wu obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University and has finished a General Dentistry Residency in Queens Hospital. She has been practicing comprehensive dentistry in New York and Texas.

Dr. Christopher Kim grew up in the inner city of Los Angeles, California where he once served his community as an Emergency Medical Technician.

He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology at UCLA and his Doctor of Dental Surgery in New York University. Dr. Kim finished a General Practice Residency in Bronx Lebanon Hospital and has been practicing comprehensive dentistry in New York and Texas.

Pros:
Dr. Tina Wu took her time to explain everything to me. She explained the different options, and she answered every single question that I had. During the procedure, she walked me through everything that she is about to do step by step.
I had a wisdom tooth extraction and I did not feel any pain.

As an added bonus, you get to watch Netflix!

I called to make an appointment for my husband who is terrified of the dentist. He is super picky and he had me ask all of he questions. The receptionist is so friendly! She didn’t make me feel like I was nuts. Such a great experience and now my husband has a new favorite doctor.

This is literally the nicest dentist office I’ve ever been to with the most flexible hours. The office is surprisingly comfortable, super clean and smells wonderfully. The staff is super nice, extremely caring and punctual. I’m usually very anxious when I have dental visits but my experience in this office was down right joyful. I now have a new dental home.

Everything was great from the very start! The receptionist was so helpful as well as the Patient Care Coordinator, Carlene. I love how they let you watch Netflix while you are going through the procedure, which is a plus and a distraction. Very clean environment and extraordinary customer service. Already referred some of my friends to them for sure!

Great experience from the first phone call to the first face-​to-​face meeting. Dr Wu was professional and informative without ever sounding «preachy». A pet-​peeve of many dental patients. The staff is courteous, friendly, well trained and helpful. I worked in the dental field for 30 years — from Dental Assistant to administrator, instructor and eventually as a consultant to many doctors in various types of dental practices. You cannot teach people skills and it is pretty darn tough to fake them. This folks have those skills in abundance. I highly recommend this practice; as a patient and as a dental professional.

My wife and I were first-​time patients, and on our initial visit the entire staff was very welcoming, helpful, and thorough. Every procedure was explained in great detail, and every charge and fee was discussed in detail. Overall, our first experience with them was very positive, and we will surely be visiting them again.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Wu, who is a wonderful dentist. She really took the time to meet me, discuss any concerns, and was very involved in the actual appointment. My experience as a patient myself was just as good. They tell you to plan 2 hours for your first visit, and they really mean it – do not schedule anything for the 2 hours following your appointment time. Between consultation, X Rays, cleaning, flouride, and some waiting, you will be there 2 hours. But it is worth it, they do a very good job in a very nice atmosphere, and they take my insurance, so yay.

I’m updating my review based on my little ones first tiny cavity experience. First let me just express how much I wanted a Pediatric dentist. I don’t appreciate Dr Wu telling me that a pediatric dentist is only needed to sedate a child for procedures. That is unbelievable NOT true. Certified Pediatric dentist are fully trained to help a child through any situation and anxiety. My daughter did Awesome and Dr. Wu did an awesome job with explaining to my daughter, except she should know that Not all children need to be «baby talk» through the procedure. I only compare a general dentist vs a pediatric dentist, because I know. My daughter had a pediatric dentist in VA and I saw the difference in how he performed. I want my daughter to have a positive experience with dentistry and it starts at a young age. A child can be fearful of the dentist at first visit. I prefer a «Pediatric» dentist for this reason. Dr. Wu is a good dentist and she did a great job doing her job to the best knowledge she knows how with children… Luckily, my child that went there enjoyed it, except it looked like she was rushing through it —my daughter was making urging noises as she kept going. A dentist needs to Listen to patient, especially being young and Hear them out Then continue. I chose not to come here as an adult, because I can already tell (by talking to her and her 5 years experience in dentistry) she cannot handle my anxiety with the dentist! I need to do what is best for my family.

I had such a wonderful dental experience here with all the staff and Dr. Wu. She took her time to meet with me and talk about my history and concerns. I had a very detailed exam with X-​rays and pictures taken of each tooth. Everything was thoroughly explained to me and SHOWN to me with their technology so I could actually see and understand what the problem was. and I was able to watch Netflix while the X-​rays were being taken! Very relaxing, clean and modern dentist. Highly recommend!

I’ve been jumping from dentist to dentist trying to find one that I like. Thanks to Unilocal I finally found «the one» Dr. Wu took her time with me instead of rushing to the next patient like most do. She explained in details exactly what she will be doing. Didn’t make me feel like just another patient. Her staff is also very nice I’ve received great customer service from them all.
Brought my daughter back the very next day to see Dr. Kim. So far I have no complaints. Did I mention their office is super clean? We will definitely be coming back.

Best dentists my son and I have ever had. It’s a beautiful, always clean office with beverages for patients, and super friendly staff. They take time to get to know you, to consult you and let you know exactly what needs to be done. The dentists are very detailed and explains everything thoroughly. I got to examine my X-​rays and learned a lot about my teeth. Not to mention getting to catch up on my Netflix while I wait or get examined. :) It gets even better when they give the treatment plan at the end, which shows everything that needs to be done and the exact prices. They have great payment options and a dental discount program. I would highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I took our 2 boys (2 & 3 years old) to SpringLove for there first dental checkup and the process went smoothly. We prefilled the required forms online before the appointment. When we arrived at the office, we only had to wait a few minutes before Dr. Wu invited us into her office for the initial consultation. She was very thorough and patient with us.
She later took my wife and the boys into the operating room for examination. She made them feel very comfortable and no one threw any tantrum. Luckily neither of them has any cavity. Success!!!
I also had an appointment that day and the dental assistant was very efficient and kind. She took xrays and scans of my teeth with state of the art equipment. I have been to 4 different dental offices within the last 10 years and SpringLove has the best equipment.
Because of the personable service and high class facility, they will be our family’s dentists for the foreseeable future.

Dr Christopher Kim is awesome. He’s professional, efficient and extremely thorough. He takes his time to explain the procedure step by step. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily and painlessly he administered the anesthetic. — huge advantage!!!
The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very comfortable. It’s by appointment so there isn’t a long wait time like most other dentist’s offices.
I highly recommend this dentist/​office and I would definitely come back here for routine checkups.
