Tango Nails

Love this place! Ive been here at least 5+ times and I’m always impressed. I get the deluxe pedicure and shellac nails. I’m always treated very well. Great service and quality.

First off, I’m only giving this 1 star because I had to. I went for a manicure/​shellac service 11/​13, the next Tuesday ¹¹⁄₁₇ I returned because the shellac chipped off my thumb nail. First they couldn’t find the color, then tried to talk me into getting a different color on just that one nail. I said no, I’d like the color I paid for & that matches the rest of my nails. Finally it was fixed. I came back in this morning ¹¹⁄₂₃ because all of my nails had the shellac cracked & chipping. I was told it’s because of my job… they didn’t even know what I do for living. Then it was because I lift boxes that’s why the shellac is cracking from the cuticles. Mind it, I DO NOT LIFT BOXES! I asked for a refund and was told no. Then I had 5 technicians around me saying after so many weeks this is what shellac does. Of course but not after 10 days. They were so rude and blamed it on my job which of course they have no clue what I do for a living. Absolutely disgusted by their service. I would say you get what you pay for but they were not cheap when it came to their services. Look around before coming here.

Worst experience ever! It took two hours for a mani and pedi after several mistakes on my polish! They don’t believe in AC here either and keep the down open all day making it a sauna in this place. It’s a clean salon but didn’t care for it and will stick to my normal salon.

I don’t get a pedicure often– maybe once or twice a year. I was carpooling w hubby and he had a meeting at Rakuu Sushi– a place next door.
Tango Nails is awesome!
Clean and sanitary were the pedicure tubs. Massage chair on point. No one pushing me to get extra services. Quiet and peaceful during the day AND my friend didn’t try to cut my toenails beyond recognition. I loved her!
If you’re in the area, I’d suggest stopping in!

Burned my wife’s lip when she got it waxed… Not much else to say really. I’m sure it happens but it was a completely avoidable thing.
So should you decide to go, just know that your face might be burned if you get it waxed. There are nail salons every 150 feet now days, I’d suggest that you pick another one.

I went to Tango nails after reading the reviews on here that it was a great nail salon. However my experience was not as great. The gentleman that worked on my nails was very unpleasant and did properly follow the steps of applying a fresh full set. He did not clean my cuticles, and rushed through them once he saw other patrons walk in requesting service. When I requested him to do better on my nails or to fix any errors, he was very frustrated and visibly expressed it. And to top it off, I was not offered anything beverages unlike the other patrons who were treated as royalty when they walked through the door. As a very educated African American, I am not one to pull any racial cards because I am a very realistic person. However, this is not the first nail salon in Texas where I experience a blatant difference of treatment from Caucasians or even Hispanics that could pass as white. So this review may not affect those racial groups per say, but I do want to forewarn African Americans about my experience here and of other nail salons in this area.

I have tried several nail salons in the last year since I moved to the area. Tango Nails is the only one that I have come back to regularly. The do a very good job on pedicures, manicures, and french full sets. Their prices are slightly higher than some other places but I don’t mind because they are done well. The staff and facility are both very nice and clean. They are open on Sunday and located in a good area.

I have been going to Tango Nails since they opened when I’m able to and they ALWAYS give us great treatment. Today I took myself, daughter her two cousins and her friend and treated each of us wonderfully. I recommend this place to anyone!!!

I don’t ever write reviews but Tango Nails really deserves one. They gave excellent service and their store was perfectly clean. Everyone was so friendly and ready to help. I’ll be going back for every mani, pedi, or eyebrow wax I need.

I highly recommend this place ! It’s super clean they’re super nice and funny especially lily and Madison they’re great… the staff always offers cold drinks… they pamper you all the way !:) will be returning for a refill soon haha

I brought my cousin who came to visit from out of town here for a relaxing girls time. We both got classic mani and pedi. My 2 techs did a great job but unfortunately for my dear cousin one of her techs cut her pretty bad on 2 of her fingers. It didn’t go as well as we had hoped.

«Tango Nails» was a pleasant surprise in my afternoon, a splurge of the moment. Of which I hope to be able to repeat time and time again.
While I was visiting I got a Shelac Manicure and a Classic Pedicure with the oranges.
Everything was very clean, and I couldn’t even smell nail polish or remover.
Probably one of my only complaints is that the lotion they used on my legs completely broke me out. And the rocks were very itchy. But everything else was very pleasant.
The ladies were very sweet and could speak English very well, so I could understand them.

Love the atmosphere! They are super polite, attentive, it’s clean and inviting. The best service and results I have had in a very VERY long time!

Very clean and professional. Fair pricing. They do take a while on pedicures but that’s because they do a thorough job. Still, I wouldn’t stop in if I was in a hurry.

My favorite nail technician, Annie, is the new owner of Tango Nails. I was really excited to see her new salon, and it didn’t disappoint!
I went on Friday afternoon at 2 pm for a manicure and pedicure. Annie has done an excellent job with her new Nail Salon. The understated décor is relaxing, the salon is extremely clean and as another reviewer pointed out, the menu of services is extensive. Best of all, the Services brochure lists exactly how long the service lasts. This is very helpful to customers who want to dash in and dash out– get a quick manicure, for example, and head out for the weekend.
The Massage chairs are outstanding. The chair has about 8 different types of massage, and not the usual up and down the spine variety.
I wanted a spa manicure/​pedicure and opted for Tango Nail’s new «Pearl Spa» for my pedicure. This service lasts 60 FANTASTIC minutes, and has several steps for leg and feet treatment: cooling, mask, hot paraffin (for my feet), deep moisturizing and massage with hot stones. The relaxation lasted me for the rest of the night. My legs and feet felt wonderful.
I have been going to Annie for 5 plus years for manicures and pedicures. Her manicures are gentle, yet effective with the cuticles well groomed and not aggressively cut, and the polish perfect and long lasting.
I plan to go back and try some of her other services, for which she has hired specialty technicians and aestheticians.
Tango Nails is located off of Gosling Road on FM 2920. It is a short drive from The Woodlands, and actually faster for me than going into The Woodlands with all the traffic and congestion.
And if you want peace and relaxation, try the spa treatment, close your eyes and tell your technician you want to unwind.

Everyone there is very nice, things are very clean, they have a good atmosphere & cold drinks. Good selection of nail polish, a menu with great variety, good price point & overall a good place.
My complaints would be that I don’t like to talk, I’m here to relax. They talked my head off & I didn’t know how to stop them. I also had a specific nail art request that they couldn’t do. So I went with one of their basic designs & that they did great.
Perks– everything is new so that is nice. The massage was nice & a good length. It smells good not like polish remover. They have tv’s also & music playing.
I don’t think I will come back personally however it’s not bad if you need a quick fix. I just like my pedicures extra ordinary, it’s my detox time! :-)
