I’ve used Taxi Club twice, and both experiences have been not great. The first time, I went 3 miles in a super old Toyota that didn’t even have power windows. The driver had a price card in the back that was so out of date my fare ended up being 3x the stated rates. When I asked him to show me the fare breakdown, he couldn’t because it had «disappeared». (Btw, 3 miles was $ 15)
Second time I called them to give a second chance. Nice guy showed up in probably a lower 2000s minivan. He was very friendly. I was going from Conroe to the Woodlands, about 12 miles. When I got to the destination, I asked «how much?» And he said «$ 65». I actually laughed. That’s got to be a joke, right?!? I asked them how much they charge to go to the airport (which is 30 miles away) and he said $ 65. This service is so ridiculously overpriced. You should get an actual executive car service for the prices they charge, and cars nicer than an ’04 minivan.
This service is a joke. If you can’t get an über, just walk. That’s how bad this is.

I would give no stars if I could. Called the main number and got a voicemail saying I should book online, which I ended up doing. I received an e-​mail indicating I would get a call shortly confirming the reservation. I waited a while as I didn’t expect a call right away; when I did not receive a call, I called main number and asked for confirmation of my on-​line reservation. I was told that not only did they not have my reservation, now there were no cars available to pick us up at our scheduled time. I tried several other Woodlands taxi services and they were all booked so we were screwed. I sent an e-​mail to Taxi Club customer service but to date have not received a response. Do Not Use This Service!

Scam taxi service took us wrong way both times to make a $ 15 fare to $ 25 from hotel to Chandler Pavilion. AVOID!
